A barren land, the wind whispered and left a more arid sensation with a mysterious chill coming into Chandra's bone. She sighed and her eyes were capturing the scene. The sun was going to set down on the west side and left a reddish opus on its pacing path. She stopped the horse as Baron asked.
Drenched with water from a canteen that Kumara offered, Chandra wiped her wet lips as her eyes captured a building around the barren land. A timely worn building, behind some big trees that had flopping leaves and dried ones, those leaves were drifted by the wind. The rustling sound of dryness and isolation ambiance, Chandra sniffed. They were horsing for a day to get to that place since they left the chateau that morning.
"We suspect that place where King Brutus restore some goods along the trading activities!" Baron spoke, his lips drained to get some liquid. He got his canteen and looked around them as he wiped his lips. "Let me and Prince Kumara investigate that place! Please stay here, Princess Chandra!"
At the following moment, Chandra took three horses that they were riding to a shady big tree. Time went by and she drank the horses with the water tank that she brought. She was caressing the horse that she rode and it made her hover to Magic, her loyal horse. Magic was a white mare that never got tired to run wherever Chandra took him. That mare was wind speed company, Chandra smiled and kissed the horse that she rode, on its forehead. "You're so beautiful though!"
She was waiting under the tree as Kumara and Baron were going to investigate the building. Concerning some minutes, the two men appeared to sneak avoiding others' attention.
"What did you find there?" Chandra got up from the ground. Her eyes were haunted by an annoying glimpse.
Kumara exhaled and regulated his breath. He threw his sight to Baron. "There's no one to find us sneaking, don't you think?"
Baron bent his upper body downward as his two arms leaned on his knees. He seemed so anxious. "No!" He got up, wiping his nose and clenching out his hand. "I found this scattered from a wooden punnet."
Kumara examined the grains with silver color and brown tone on Baron's hand. "It's iron steel!" He hissed at his curiosity.
"They're trading iron steel. With King Dragon or the king of Anatolia Island?" Chandra wrinkled her forehead.
Kumara put out something from his trousers. "I found this seal!" He showed the seal that he found on a piece of paper that was thrown away.
"The Emerald Drake Kingdom's seal!" Baron and Chandra looked at each other.
Kumara put his finger on his lips as a sign for both of them to turn down their voices. He asked them to bend their bodies and hide around the bushes as Chandra sneaked to bring the horses away.
Taking only some seconds then, the three of them were riding each horse to leave that place.
As they were entering the dark gloomy woods, they tried to ride the horse as fast as they could with their full attention on the surroundings. The wind was blowing and chilling up the human's anxiety inside Chandra's chest as she thought about what those two men had found in that building. 'Did they find my father?' she sighed and tried to concentrate as the front road looked so dark, she was in the middle position as Baron led them and Kumara on his horse was behind her.
The forest was a bridge between that barren land and the central area of the Anatolia Island Kingdom. They rode the horses slower as they reached the boundary and the spanned scenery of some lightning torches from some houses was sparklingly beautiful in front of their sights.
"Did you find my father?" Chandra asked after some hours had run in silence.
Baron sighed. "No. I'm sorry! There are some men guarding that building!"
Chandra exhaled harshly. "Were they the men of King Dragon or King Brutus?" she asked again. "Why don't you fight them?" She gawked at Kumara. "You can fight them all and defeat them!" her voice started higher in pitch.
Kumara inhaled and tried to stay calm. "We don't want to make any ruins, do we?" He asked and glanced at Chandra.
"We come to investigate, please, understand, and do it as we planned!" Kumara's voice sounded so soft.
Chandra inhaled and blemished away some bumpy feelings that attacked her. She chose to keep herself silent and breathed more calmly. 'I can't be impulsive!' she sniffed harshly.
They entered the chateau and Chandra hurriedly came into the chateau, leaving Baron and Kumara behind.
She headed to the balcony. The night wind blew some of her hair strands. She took a deep breath and turned her eyes around where she found some rambling roses and some small green plants decorating the balcony. She closed her eyes as those bumping emotions attacked her chest again. 'No. I should control my emotion. I don't want that kind of transformation happening again to me!' she regulated her breath.
She heard some thudding steps behind her as she turned around, Kumara had stood behind her. That man looked at her in his emphatic sight. "Do you want to talk about it? I am here to listen!" his voice sounded so calmly supported.
"You must learn to control your transformation," Kumara paused and looked at the back of Chandra that started shivering. He knew that woman was hardly trying to handle her emotion as it was difficult to burst her emotion into tears. He was sure that night would end differently. He grabbed Chandra warmly on her neck and let her cry in his hug.
"We are going to find your father. Keep believing!" He caressed that woman's head gently.
Suddenly, Chandra drew herself away from Kumara's hug. "I am sorry!" She rubbed her eyes and wiped her tears. She tried hard to control her panting breath to her normal breath.
"Crying doesn't mean that we are weak, Princess Chandra!" Kumara inhaled.
"But it is something stupid to do in front of a man like you!" Chandra hissed and started to breathe normally.
She vanished her emotional tears as The Defenders and Baron were approaching them.
"Are you okay, Princess Chandra?" Baron whispered in her ear and brought her a drink.
She sniffed slowly, and after taking some sips of the drink, she nodded. "We will discuss what we've found in that building, won't we?" She wiped her lips and her voice sounded quite throaty.
The Mustache glared at her and inhaled deeply. "Yes. We need to plan what we should do next!"
The Collector cleared his throat. "Before we are going to talk about that, please, allow me, Princess Chandra, Prince Kumara, Mr. Baron, and Sir…" he paused as he stared at The Mustache to allow him to speak.
The Mustache nodded calmly.
"I think there were people attempting to hurt you, Princess Chandra!" The Collector talked carefully. He told the event that had happened to Tania who was kidnapped, sedated, and left at the park where he promised her to meet up. "He…I mean she was on her way to give an invitation to Princess Chandra and Prince Kumara, for having lunch at the palace tomorrow!" The Collector paused and gave a chance to The Tracer unveiled his finding about Mr. Marguez's sister, Yovanka.
"The day before Miss Tania was kidnapped this morning, I've been following Miss Yovanka. She met a woman with her two guarding men, and she described Madam Belladonna as the mysterious woman who suspected that Madam Belladonna and you, Princess Chandra, are the same person!" The Tracer spoke. "It seemed that the mysterious woman has not known you, Princess Chandra, as she misidentified the traits of Madam Belladonna with Miss Tania. The traits of curly ginger long hair and a fragrance that smells like lily!"
"A lily fragrance?" Chandra wiped her nose. "Wasn't that perfume that I bought from Yovanka, and I gave it to Miss Tania as a souvenir?"
"Lily symbolizes the fatal deadly attractiveness that it was lethal to bring the woman who sprayed the perfume to her death!" The Tracer continued.
Chandra wrinkled her forehead.
"I think it's an icon to determine who will be the target!" Baron added. "And, they kidnapped Miss Tania as they thought that she or he was you!" Baron chuckled. "My gosh, fortunately, they had sedated Tania so she couldn't kick them and break their bones!" Baron smiled and rubbed his nose.
"Please, show me the letter that I found at the cabin's door when we were at the ship?" Chandra asked The Mustache to give her the letter that she got from a mysterious person when they were about to sail from The Wallachian. "'I know who you are. Beware of your steps. Beautiful eyes could be as evil as an angel of death. The Messenger." She read it and inhaled deeply. 'Beautiful eyes…' she tried to think. "Beautiful eyes, means a woman? A beautiful woman or some beautiful woman?"
Kumara inhaled. "Do you remember that you have some women who envy you? Jealous with you?"
Chandra shook her head. "I don't think so I have any! Intentionally…" She paused. "Lily symbolizes the fatal deadly attractiveness that it was lethal to bring the woman who sprayed the perfume to her death?" She lifted her shoulder and leaned her chin with her fingers as she was thinking hard.
"Someone or there are some persons who value your attractiveness as a princess and made other parties becoming jealous of you! You made other parties feel insecure, Princess Chandra," Baron assumed after keeping them all in some minutes of silence. "And, they have the intention to take some acts of revenge on you!"
Chandra rubbed her head after taking some deep breaths. "What's heck stupid silly romance playing about and ruining about?" She paused for some seconds. "I think we should find out who is the mysterious woman that Yovanka had met up with…"
