Chandra's eye caught a sensational gesture of a woman in her red long dress, with a pair of long, beautiful legs. She had a pair of magnetic green eyes, and a hip that waved every time she took walking steps. She was one of the guests that Princess Soles Tiana invited for lunchtime beside her and Kumara.
She could sense how Kumara, and that mysterious woman were seen in each other's eyes. Chandra arrived at the point to dislike her denial how she got curious about the heat intensity of both of their bodies changing, mostly the mysterious woman did at that moment her eyes were catching Kumara's eyes. Chandra inhaled deeply. She could smell the submissive intention of that woman to Kumara, not too far different from a prey decided to surrender to its predator. 'Or she pretended that she was his prey?' again, Chandra took a deep breath.
"Madam Marguerite!" Tania winked one eye at Chandra. "A queen from the Ophidian Kingdom, one of the Emerald Drake Kingdom alliances." Tania smiled at the woman.
The woman stopped walking as her eyes collided with the eyes of Kumara who at that time was acted as Mr. Hoverman. She hissed something that it sounded quite arduous to hear with a human's hearing sense but, Chandra could hear it so clearly.
Chandra sighed. She unexpectedly could sense the beating rate of that woman's sounds at that time she and Kumara were locking their eyes. Chandra turned her eyes and glanced at Kumara in her sharp stare as she sensed the heart rate of Kumara was also changing. 'What kind of chemistry between the two of them?' Her instinct revealed that the woman's body started extracting some kind of odor as her body sweated. Chandra sniffed. The sweat was running from her neck down to the woman's chest. The chemical odor of her body was so strong.
Chandra's focus was disrupted as Tania suddenly yanked her hand to walk approaching that woman.
"Madam Marguerite!" Tania with her pampering gestures tried to introduce Chandra to that woman. "Madam Belladonna, the wife of Mr. Hoverman. Please…" Tania gestured to Chandra and that woman to shake their hands.
Hesitantly, the woman offered her hand to Chandra as she caught her feeling that Chandra was a tigress-half celestial woman. She hissed at that time Chandra grabbed her hand as the cold-blooded snake, her hand sensed so cold in Chandra's hand.
"Mr. Hoverman?" Madam Marguerite lifted her eyebrows and glanced at Kumara who was standing in his place, not too far from them. "Ow, I see!" She took a long deep breath before drawing her hand and striking some hair strands away from her eye.
Chandra caught Madam Marguerite deeply stared at Kumara's eyes and caressed his chest with a sparkling admiration in her eyes.
"You look so different, Mr. Hoverman!" She hissed. "But you can hide the true of yourself from my senses!" Madam Marguerite smirked naughtily.
Kumara sighed and took some sips of his drink. "Really?" He lifted one of his eyebrows and wiped his lips.
Madam Marguerite smiled and turned her eyes down to the legs of Kumara. She smirked, "I wish we could discuss further about your business…and my business…" She stopped and took a sip of her drink.
Kumara rubbed his forehead and glanced at Chandra. "Anyways, Belladonna, I think we should return to the chateau!"
Chandra lifted her eyebrows. "What kind of business that both of you are running?" She tried to hook Kumara and Madam Marguerite.
Kumara smirked. "It's an expired business that we've no interest to get it on, don't you think so, Madam Marguerite?"
Madam Marguerite smirked in a more enigmatic and cynical look. "It should've been good enough to make you decide, Mr. Hoverman! I don't need any validation as I am already a queen, instead of a princess that people said that princess had run away from her kingdom! What kind of royal blood does she have? Couldn't she fight for her kingdom's sake?"
Chandra took a deep breath and tried to control her emotion. She knew that the woman's statements were addressed to her. 'Did she know me? Or my reputation as a runaway princess or a princess who surrendered her nobility had been spreading as a rumor? Otherwise, did people raise their curiosity between me and Kumara?' Chandra turned her eyes somewhere else before she kept her eyes on Kumara and Madam Marguerite. She desperately hoped that Kumara would yank her hand and take her somewhere else instead of the front of the jealous eyes of that woman. 'I don't want to get my transformation provoked by her!'
Chandra took her final sip and asked permission from Princess Soles Tiana to walk away from the room as she tried to get some air. She was walking on a small path when someone yanked her arm. She turned her head and saw Madam Marguerite do that.
"I know who you are, Madam Belladonna! You are a tigress half-celestial creature. But I could smell the blood of a dragon from you too, it smells like cultured dragon blood from the Bhagavanta Kingdom. Who are you? A half tigress celestial and half dragon celestial creature, but how could it be?" Madam Marguerite was staring at her.
Chandra wrinkled her forehead. 'Could she smell my dragon celestial blood inherited from my father too?' She stared at the woman curiously and triggered her awareness about her as a queen of the Ophidian Kingdom. She was the queen who got the throne after her husband died and she was a young tough woman.
"It must be a half-snake celestial creature who has that kind of sense!" Chandra responded and tried to release herself from Madam Marguerite's grip.
"Tell me why should Prince Kumara choose you than me?" She hissed at Chandra as a snake normally did in any intense situation.
Chandra chose no words to reply to that woman's question. Her eyes kept staring at Madam Marguerite's eyes. She tried to regulate her breath, avoiding the transformation manifesting in her physical realm.
She watched through the woman's eyes; Marguerite's rage had changed her shadow to become a very big snake. The giant snake tried to break Chandra's bones into ashes. Chandra's blood ran fast, she smelled danger and she roared.
Chandra's defensive state had brought her shadow to become a giant tigress with some fierce fangs. She started growling and exhibited her sharp paws. She was still observing the slithering movement of the snake as she moved her body to get a better vision of the snake's weak body part to get bit off to its last breath. She was aware of its power to roll up and down her body into the snake's wrapping power.
At the critical moment, suddenly, Chandra's necklace's pendant sparked a bright light that the light made both Chandra and Madam Marguerite's eyes became almost blind. Both of their eyes were staring at the light as the light itself formed a big dragon that it was standing between them.
"The Holy Dragon!" Madam Marguerite hissed and stepped backward as she turned her head down. She half bent to the creature that it was so bright in its appearance.
Chandra knelt. She knew that it was The Holy Dragon, one of her ancestors that most dragon and snake celestial creatures respected for. The Holy Dragon was their protectors and they worshipped for The Holy Dragon's wisdom upon them.
Only a few seconds then, The Holy Dragon disappeared and returned to the pendant of a necklace that Chandra was wearing.
Madam Marguerite rose and stared at Chandra. "It's not over, Princess Chandra!" She hissed.
"Prince Kumara was destined to marry a dragon woman or an Ophidian woman, instead of a tigress! It breaks the nature laws!" She stared at Chandra.
"I am not against the nature laws either, only destiny speaks between me and him!" Chandra roared and kept staring at her.
"What is your purpose to reach for him?" Madam Marguerite fizzled and tried to move forward.
Chandra clenched tightly her hands. "It's either not your business to find it out!"
Madam Marguerite laughed. "Don't you learn from your previous relationship with King Dragon?" She asked cynically.
Chandra took a very deep breath as she knew that woman who standing in front of her still trying to provoke her. 'She tried to manipulate me as she wants to assess my power!' Chandra smirked. 'I am not stupid, dear queen!'
"You should release him from your dirty paws, Princess Chandra! And let him choose his mate from his species!" Madam Marguerite provoked Chandra again.
Chandra coldly smiled at her. "I don't have to do that! He has his decision and I have my decision. Does it bother you, Queen?"
They stopped arguing when they saw Kumara approaching them.
"What are you fighting for?" He looked at both Chandra and Madam Marguerite in barter.
"I am fighting for you, stay away from a tigress half-celestial creature!" Madam Marguerite hissed at Kumara before she stared at Chandra.
Kumara took a deep breath. "I told you, Marguerite. We've only our past. Everything should be left behind; you should move on from your obsession with me!"
Chandra sniffed and looked at Kumara. "I am fighting for my dignity and pride! Finish it and don't get me involved between both of you!" She spoke firmly before turning around and leaving both Kumara and Madam Marguerite behind.
"Belladonna…please!" Kumara asked Chandra to stop walking away.
Madam Marguerite smirked cynically. "Is she Belladonna or Princess Chandra?"
