Kumara sighed. His eyes kept staring at the dark sky as he was taking a seat on a bench in the chateau's garden. The moon was hanging with some stars sparkling around.
The battle inside his mind and heart was occurring, so gloomy and dark as some nights without moonbeams and stars. A conflict questions his fate as a half-human and half-snake celestial creature.
One of those stars was a planet to celestial creatures as he belonged to. He was a half snake and half angelic celestial creature. Kumara had a snake shadow since the ophidian cursed his father for his sin. Although he was a prince, Kumara would have snake blood, and traits and would change into a big ophidian on the planet Earth meanwhile, he could look like a normal man.
His father was King Ophiuchus, a half-godly man whose power was to defeat serpents and all ophidian creatures. He made mistakes as a man, raping a female celestial creature that people from the eastern hemisphere of the planet Earth called 'Vidyadhari'. After peeking at that celestial creature while taking a bath in a lake somewhere on the planet Earth, he could not resist his manly passion and desire for that celestial creature. Their forbidden love made Kumara's mother, a female angelic creature got pregnant and delivered him in her celestial realm.
He was thinking about the statement of Madam Marguerite about the law of nature in an ophidian's life as he was a half-snake celestial creature. 'Could this curse be broken?' he took a deep breath. He reflected on the story between Princess Chandra and King Dragon.
'I know Princess Chandra could've been broken-hearted deeply with King Dragon as long as I knew she had run away from the kingdom and surrendered her succession to her step-uncle, King Brutus forcibly. The fate made them separated since Princess Chandra was still a human although she had inherited dragon blood from her father and could be some tiger blood from her mother. What a rare combination of celestial blood she has!' Kumara unconsciously smiled as he fantasized about her. 'She never opened her heart anymore to any men, not yet. I think she has healed but she's still afraid of being exposed in a relationship with another man. Her priority is how to take back her throne.' Kumara took a deep breath and leaned his chin with his arm. 'But sometimes she also acts so indecisively, stubbornly, and unexplainably rebellious!'
'I can't fight King Dragon explicitly since he is also an ophidian like me!' He threw his eyes to the brightest star. He felt that his mother was noticing him from above, inside her place where she was in isolation period to purify her sin. As a celestial creature, his mother was accused of doing a big sin because she had delivered a birth of a son from an earthy creature, his father. Although King Ophiuchus was a half-godly man, he chose to spend his time living on the planet Earth.
King Dragon's father was one of the gods that the ophidian or people on the planet Earth called the 'snakes' race worshipped. He was a god of wisdom. He was the grandson of The Holy Dragon when he was still alive on this planet.
Kumara, once in his long age, started questioning his fate. 'Will I become like my father? A part godly man who chose to live on the earth and started to become an earthy creature since he had spent many years living on this planet! It means that I shall surrender a part of my immortality.'
His father had surrendered half of his immortality, died with his human body on this planet, and returned to his world on another planet where he came from. King Ophiuchus couldn't spend his time together with his love, Kumara's mother, since his mother had to spend another five hundred years to accomplish her isolation period for punishment, before coming together with her love, Kumara's father.
The kingdom of the Ophidian race on this planet Earth had been split into two powerful kingdoms, the descendants of The Holy Dragon Spirit and the generations of The Ophidian's Wisdom God. In the Ophidian world, there was a rumor that the conflict between the descendants of The Holy Dragon and The Ophidian's Wisdom God to get their influence had got multifaceted with the intrigues of The Tiger race who wanted to rule over the planet Earth.
'The Tigers have inherited some majestic traits on this planet Earth. They were born as warriors, quite strategic, unpredictable with some powerful compatibilities to adapt and to encounter the power of the Ophidian race on this planet!' Kumara inhaled.
'It has been some worries among the Ophidian race about the power of the Tigers to take away their influential grips on this planet! I believe that it was a reason for King Antasena to marry a princess from the Tiger clan and dynasty. And his daughter inherited half of each of the powers that were given by the combination of two powerful races!'
Kumara paused, looking at the window room where Chandra was sleeping. He found a silhouette of hers, standing near the window and changing her clothes. The spark of candlelights projected her female silhouette on the wall as the eyes of Kumara captured it. Kumara gasped and he saw the naked body silhouette of Chandra. Only a few seconds then, Chandra blew the light of candles in her room and dimmed her silhouette beyond Kumara's sight.
Kumara wiped his lips. 'No. I couldn't take this feeling for her. She's too stubborn to get sleep with. She could have the power to control me, and I am a prince of wars. Her tigress transformation could be some problems for me!'
'There will be no romantic nights to spend with unless the battle with me and her in conquering her rebellious character!' Kumara took a deep breath.
'But I am still curious why nothing happened at the time she took a bath in the Lake of Wisdom in my land. It should be something that happened since the lake would give some curses to any creatures who carry earthy blood. The lake is only provided for celestial creatures and Vidyadhari creatures. But nothing bad happened to her although Light Owen hasn't opened the portal of light and celestial energy among dimensions to her?' Kumara leaned his body forward. He snapped his fingers and within a few seconds, he disappeared and traveled among dimensions to return to his palace.
He was standing in front of his palace's gate with some clouds covering the gate and they functioned as external protection which any creatures who tried to come into would get shocked by their electric powers. Some creatures could die because of the shocks.
His thudding footstep sounded as he strolled into a room where some floral fragrances saturated the room's atmosphere and made him feel so excited. He saw his concubines gathering and welcoming him as a prince. Most of them were the ophidian women and some of them were Vidyadhari. His eyes were spanning and looking for another two concubines that came from the Tiger family, a half-leopard celestial woman, and a half-panther celestial woman.
"Where are they?" Kumara took some sips of his drink that was served by the youngest concubine. He kissed her deeply before asking her to disappear. He asked one concubine to call them.
"Yes, my Prince?" A half-leopard woman appeared, and she wore a leopard motived dress with exposing thighs and cleavage. She had tanned skin with sensual gestures.
A half-panther celestial woman appeared with a short skirt and a tight upper outfit in red. She walked behind a leopard woman. The two of them were the ones of the five favorite concubines that Kumara spent the nights with. She had a dark beauty in her.
Kumara sighed. "Have you got information about the tiger clan that I asked?"
Both of them were taking a deep breath. "We haven't, my Prince!"
"The access into the Tiger clans was restricted, my Prince!" The panther woman explained. "Mainly to the Tiger clan who has the most powerful influence!"
Kumara took a deep breath. He signed them to return to their room.
He clapped his hands and asked for the other concubines to dance for him and give him some entertainment.
While some concubines were entertaining him, Kumara took time to observe each of them. He had more than a hundred concubines but no one of them made him decide to marry each of them legally. He didn't want to give all the concubines that he had a legal predicate as his queen.
'Each of them doesn't have any potential and qualities that I need as a queen!' He sighed and decided to leave the room where his concubines tried hard to make him entertained.
'They don't have enough power to conquer, compared to Princess Chandra!' He strode out of the room and vanished from their sight.
He rode a cloud and asked to take him to the land where he took Princess Chandra for the first time as she wondered at the beauty of the celestial realm. He felt so cloudy and for the first time, he felt a half of himself empty as he took some deep breaths.
