"So you left them at took off first without telling your mom?"
"It's fine! Hehe, I can still see the road on the way here!"
Two little girls were chatting, while drinking yogurts, behind the counter.
"That's not the problem though. It's already night, even if there are lights by the side of the road, it still doesn't mean that it is safe for a little girl like you to walk by yourself." Luis interjected as he was arranging the things on the shelves.
"Jeez! You sound like my mom!" Ana waved her hand to Luis while taking a big gulp at her yogurt.
"What about your mom? ANA TURNER!?" A voice suddenly appeared, a young woman in her late 20's was standing right outside the opened door. She was smiling like a gentle mother who looked at her precious daughter, though Ana who saw her, can see her future that was being spanked!
"Mom! I MISS YOU!" With an affectionate voice, she shown to her mom that she loved her deeply, but slowly hid under the counter's table.
"THERE IS NO USE HIDING ANA! Jeez you know how worried I am! Come here!" She then went to the counter and picked the little ear of her daughter.
"Aw! Ouch! Wuuh, I won't do it again mama!" Ana hurriedly stood up so that her ear won't hurt badly as her mother was still squeezing it tightly.
…..
"You better behave and we will talk about this after we get home!"
After she was reprimanded, Ana obediently sat next to Sarah who was laughing hard at her misfortune!
"STOP LAUGHING! I thought we were friends!"
"Pfft~ It's your fault anyway." Sarah block her hands that were pushing her away and continued on their fighting(playing).
…..
"Sigh, that child really! I only looked at the side for a second and she took off immediately. Though the town has a lot of guards but there are also a lot of people, who knows what would happen!" Cynthia, the mother of Ana also the owner of Fox Tail, wiped her tears as she imagined the worst to happen to one of her children. Her husband has already passed away and as a single mother supporting herself and her two children, she needs to be alert everytime.
"Don't worry, if you have problems we can help." Luis then comforted her as he handed a handkerchief to wipe her wet eyes. "Well give me the list and I'll help you sort your orders for today."
"Thanks and here it is, the other owners are coming later. You think the supplies are enough?" Cynthia handed the list of ingredients and other stuff to Luis for her shop.
"Yes, it's enough for the whole food street just for this week, anymore and they can wait for another week. You brought your carriage, right?" He asked as their were a lot on the list and one adult person and a little kid can't lift everything.
"Yes, it's right outside, my son is currently watching it."
