Isabella woke up early the next day, feeling refreshed after a good night's sleep. She stretched her arms and legs and yawned, feeling a sense of calmness wash over her. As she got out of bed, naked she had already forgotten that Azazel was now staying with her. She gets up and heads to the kitchen for a cup of coffee.
As she got to the kitchen. She busied herself with making a cup of coffee, forgetting the fact that she was naked and that there was an immortal god in her home. She poured the hot coffee into a mug and turned around to see Azazel standing behind her, his eyes dark and intense.
"You should be careful," he said, his voice low and dangerous. "I might not be able to control myself around you."
Isabella's heart skipped a beat as she took a step back, bumping into the kitchen counter. She felt a surge of fear run through her, but she didn't show it. She stood tall and looked him straight in the eye.
"Remember our deal," she said, her voice steady. "You promised not to touch me or hurt my father. And I promised to help you break the curse. Let's stick to that."
Azazel looked at her for a moment before nodding. "Very well," he said. "I'll stay out of your way. But be careful, Isabella. I'm not to be trifled with."
With that, he turned around and walked out of the kitchen, leaving Isabella alone with her thoughts and her coffee. Immediately after he left Isabella raced to her room. And shut the door," How could I have forgotten that, the devil was still in my house? Now he has seen me naked. She blamed herself for being careless.
Isabella finished her coffee quickly, still feeling embarrassed about her earlier mistake. She blamed herself for forgetting that Azazel was in her house, but then she reminded herself that she never expected him to be there in the first place.
After she finished her coffee, she headed to her bathroom to take a shower. The warm water cascaded down her body, relaxing her muscles and washing away the last remnants of sleep. Once she was done, she got dressed in a pair of black skinny jeans, a white t-shirt, and a black leather jacket. She slipped on a pair of white sneakers and brushed her hair.
As she walked into the living room, she found Azazel still sitting on the couch, his eyes fixed on the TV. "Good morning," she said.
Azazel turned his gaze to her. "Good morning. Where are you going?"
"To my Library store. I need to open my Library for readers,"she replied.
Azazel shook his head. "No. You promised to help me break the curse. That's what you should be doing."
Isabella stood there, looking at Azazel with a furrowed brow. She couldn't believe he was being so unreasonable. "Azazel, I need to open my store. I can't just leave it locked," she pleaded with him.
"I understand that, but you promised to help me find a way to break this curse. I can't let you out of my sight," Azazel replied, his tone firm.
"But I can't do any research if I'm not in my store. It's the only place I have all my books and notes," Isabella explained, trying to reason with him.
Azazel thought for a moment before speaking again. "Fine. I'll go with you to your store. But I'm not letting you out of my sight."
Isabella looked at Azazel with uncertainty in her eyes. She wasn't sure if she wanted him following her to the library store, but at the same time, she couldn't risk leaving it unattended.
"You're not seriously going to follow me to the store, are you?" Isabella asked, her tone tinged with a hint of annoyance.
Azazel didn't say anything for a moment, instead, he simply stared back at her, his eyes unyielding. "If you won't let me go with you, then I can't let you go," he finally replied, his voice firm.
Isabella sighed, knowing that Azazel wasn't going to back down. She glanced down at her watch, realizing that she was running out of time. "Fine, but you have to promise me that you won't cause any trouble," she said, looking back up at Azazel.
Azazel grinned, his teeth flashing white. "I promise," he said, getting up from the couch.
Isabella sighed in relief, glad that she would still be able to open her store. She quickly grabbed her bag and headed towards the door, with Azazel following close behind.
Isabella walked towards her car and saw Azazel standing there, watching her. She walked up to the driver's side door and opened it, then sat down on the driver's seat. As she was about to close the door, she turned her head and saw Azazel still standing there, watching her.
"Are you not entering or should I just go alone?" Isabella asked, annoyed.
"What is this?" Azazel asked, pointing at the car. "And why are you inside there?"
Isabella sighed, realizing that Azazel may not be familiar with modern technology. "It's a car," she said, "a mode of transportation. I'm going to drive to my library store."
Azazel looked at the car skeptically, but then nodded. "Very well," he said. "I'll follow you there."
Isabella raised an eyebrow in surprise. "You'll follow me there? In what? Do you have a car?"
Azazel simply chuckled. "I do not need a car to follow you," he said, before disappearing from sight.
Isabella was taken aback by his sudden disappearance but then realized that he must have used his powers to teleport himself. She shook her head and chuckled to herself before starting the car and driving off towards her library store.
As Isabella got to her store, she unlocked the door to her library store and pushed it open, expecting to find an empty room. She searched around and couldn't find Azazel anywhere. "Maybe he got lost," she thought to herself with a smile, imagining him wandering aimlessly through the shelves of books. "Or maybe he's stuck in spiritual traffic," she chuckled to herself.
As she made her way to the counter to turn on the lights, she suddenly froze in fear. There, sitting calmly in one of the chairs, was Azazel. He had apparently been waiting for her, and she had not noticed him in the dimly lit room.
"When did you get here?" Isabella stammered, her heart racing as she tried to regain her composure.
"I've been here the whole time," Azazel replied calmly. "I thought it best to wait for you."
Isabella's fear quickly turned to anger. "What gives you the right to just sit here and wait for me without my permission?" she demanded.
"I am merely fulfilling the conditions of our deal," Azazel replied. "I am here to ensure that you are doing everything in your power to find a way to break the curse."
Isabella sighed, realizing that he was right. She couldn't fault him for doing what he had promised. "Fine, but you could have at least let me know that you were here," she grumbled. Isabella couldn't help but feel uneasy around him, knowing he was an unpredictable and powerful being.
