!Although Jayden's actions seemed brutal, nobody disagreed with him. Almost all the players on the team had suffered under his hands.
The people on the terraces were shocked, Davina especially.
She had never seen this side of him before, and she had known him all his life. This was odd.
Maya looked at him and thought, "Aiden was right. There's something different about him. He looked kinda cool. I guess I can make an exception and slowly invite him in. Let's see how it goes.'
When they were quite a distance away, Aiden said, " Hey bro, you looked awesome back there."
Austin had something else weighing on his mind. 'How did he do that?' He had personally tried breaking Ethan's hand and failed, but Jayden did it with ease.
He threw the thought the the back of his head for now. He was glad he was on Jayden's good side.
"You did great, man," Austin smiled as he patted Jayden's shoulder.
The words that came out of Jayden's mouth shocked them both.
"Guys.....what happened?" They looked at him, speechless.
Slowly Jayden's face morphed into one of horror.
He fell to his knees and exclaimed, "What have I done!?"
Aiden replied, " You did what you had to do. You said you would deal with him and you did."
Jayden remembered himself saying, "I'll deal with him myself," and was lost in thought.
'When I said that, I was angry. I even forgot about it after a while. I wasn't even planning on doing it. But when I got mad, its like my body didn't forget, and I fulfilled my promise.'
He made a mental note to keep quiet as long as he's mad.
Meanwhile, Coach Armstrong yelled, "Alright boys, we'll select the players tomorrow due to...unforseen circumstances. Now get off my field. And somebody take Ethan to the nurse's office."
Everyone scurried off the field, and Jayden was the main topic of every conversation.
The trio was now in class, taking their bags. When Jayden turned around, he found Maya standing in front of him.
As he looked at her he thought, "She's.... breathtaking. Even Davina pales in comparison.'
Jayden tried his best not to blush but his body refused to be denied its rights.
Maya spoke first, " You looked cool back there." Jayden replied with great difficulty, "Thanks."
"Allow me to introduce myself. I'm Maya, the so called 'Ice Queen' ," she said the last part while staring daggers at Aiden, who looked at her with an innocent smile.
Maya reached out her hand for a shake.
'Ummm.....please don't hate me for this, but..' He ignored her and walked out the door. Aiden and Austin had wry smiles on their faces as they followed suit.
Maya stood on her own in the classroom. A few seconds later, her lips curled into a smile.
"We'll call it even," she whispered to herself and left.
Jayden, who was at the end of the hallway, heard her whisper. He looked around, wondering how exactly had she caught up with them, and that's when he saw her come out of the classroom.
'What exactly is going on with me?'
Aiden waved at Jayden as he got into the car.
Erica asked, "Is he a friend of yours?" to which Jayden replied, "Yes," while waving back.
Erica thought to herself, "Do you even know who he is? I guess you'll find out sooner or later.'
Aiden got into the car waiting for him and asked, " Oliver, could you please do a background check on Jayden Greystone? "
"Yes, Young Master."
Davina came into the car. As soon as Jayden saw her his heart started pounding.' Will she sell me off? If she does, Dad will definitely not let me go to a public school ever again! And its just been two days!'
Fortunately for him, Davina didn't say a word, though she sneaked a few glances at him from time to time, which Jayden noticed.
They got home and Jayden ran up to his room, with Davina following soon after.
She entered his room and said, "You're probably wondering why I didn't tell Mom, right?" Jayden nodded.
"Its because I know how much you've suffered because you've been homeschooled, never getting a chance to meet anyone else. Unlike you, I've been going to public school all my life, while you played the role of abandoned prince."
Davina paused for a moment. "You owe me one."
Jayden couldn't agree more.

Ethan woke up in the hospital, with his parents standing beside the bed.
"He's awake! My baby's awake!" His mother gave him a hug.
His father, Tony Hawk, had been informed on the incident. While he didn't condone such behavior on his son's part, he was displeased by the fact that his son's hand was broken.
The doctors said the bones had fragmented beyond repair an Ethan would need to be amputated. One of the doctors said, "The only thing capable of this is a heavy metal object, but his hand still has the imprints of another's hand. Whoever did this had a pretty powerful grip."
"Son, who did this to you?"
Ethan replied, " His name is Jayden Greystone. "
Upon hearing Jayden's last name, Tony sighed. " What's wrong, honey?"
He replied, "I was planning on getting back at him for hurting our son, but that's just wishful thinking now." His wife answered, "Why can't we fight back for our son? We have the money and the influence to back us up!"
He replied, " You don't understand. He's a Greystone. If we so much as lay a finger on him, we might as well commit suicide."
He looked out the window. "We can't touch him," he said, as he looked at the hill, and the castle at the peak.

Chief of Police, Gary Chevenix, left his office, heading over to Cliff Sands' cell.
He opened the door and got in, along with Detective Parker.
Both of them were shocked.
"But....how?"
Detective Parker went to the corpse and inspected it while Gary called for paramedics to arrive at the scene.
"Chief, I think you should come see this."
"What is it?" Gary asked as he came to him. Detective Parker lifted Cliff's neck, showing the four slashes on his throat.
