Jade entered the room but did not find Belle immediately until her eyes landed on the bed.
"Are you not feeling well, Ms. Annabelle?" She asked, concerned, upon seeing her wrapped from head to toe with a blanket.
Hearing the approaching footsteps of Jade, Belle hurriedly answered, "I am feeling well. Please drop the needle on the table; I would like to stay like this for a while."
"Alright." She went to drop the needle as instructed and left the room, closing the door behind her.
Though she wasn't convinced that Annabelle was doing well, she didn't say anything more, not wanting to sound overbearing.
Belle huffed out a sigh of relief, pushing the covers away and placing her bare feet on the floor.
Stepping back in front of the mirror, she realized the glow had dimmed. In a few seconds, she was sure her face would have returned to normalcy.
In the meantime, Belle sat down, took the needle from where Jade had left it, and picked up her dress.
