The television was switched off after the report had finished leaving Butch and Tiffany who remained in the room without any other noise disturbing them.
They were silent for a short moment before Butch asked. "Will this work out?"
Although they had discussed it all in great detail trying to work out all of the potential issues with it, it was something that they had put a lot of time and effort into so he did not wish to see it fail.
Not only did they have the toy company making the arrangements for them due to the high stock control over it but the CEO Tori was very loyal to Tiffany.
Tori was able to put together many things very quickly as she began to show her usefulness.
The plan was not only for one simple goal in mind.
It served a purpose to help Tiffany get some eyes and ears within the police department and their family homes but that was not the end of it.
Tiffany shook her head. "It is just a gamble but I think we chose wisely."
Butch was quite curious about one thing that he did not know about. "So who was behind the design? You never told me that..."
Tiffany let out an. "Oh... right. I suppose I did not tell you. Apparently one of my investments worked out in the past and now one of our siblings has become quite famous."
Butch narrowed his eyes. "Which one?"
Tiffany calmly went on to explain. "Molly... the detective geek."
Molly was once a part of the house of horrors just like them so they knew each other quite well.
Her Quirk was the type that made her body have the appearance and traits of an anthropomorphic mole humanoid.
Whenever Molly had any money of her own, she would always spend it on mystery novels and comics so she was known as the detective geek to many who knew her.
Among those who were in that environment, she was surprisingly quite well-read and educated.
Not only could she read well but she could even draw quite well too.
Molly was among those who were sold off later but Tiffany was able to keep a close watch over her after leaving a toy with her.
Molly was sold into a small family of two to a man and woman who had struggled to have a child of their own.
They struggled to get a child through the usual channels so they became desperate enough to look in other less conventional areas.
It was only a year after Molly was adopted that they were finally successful in having a child.
Molly gained less attention then but it was not all bad.
She did not get pushed out of the family even if she was no longer needed and she got to attend school and take on courses of her choice.
Perhaps that gave her freedom to pursue what she enjoyed rather than having her parent's hopes and dreams direct her life.
That freedom allowed her to go unnoticed for a long time as she became quite a shut-in but what others did not know was that she was working on a webcomic.
It was a type of comic which revolved around a detective who went around solving all kinds of strange unsolved crimes while he frequently worked alongside superpowered heroes.
The comic would portray him as someone who always got to the root of the problem and without his abilities, the heroes and many others may never have reached that point.
It did not paint the heroes in an unfavourable light since they were always given the role of working alongside the detective.
Sometimes they would be used to notice a clue hidden somewhere difficult to find or they would use their abilities to handle matters that the detective could not handle like moving something or even dealing with the criminal.
It was the type of comic that showed how a detective would still be effective even in a world that had heroes to solve most of the problems.
While it did not give Heroes a poor image, it allowed the detective to remain relevant during a time when they could not be needed as much.
Since it was focused on that genre, it became quite popular very quickly and Molly began getting offers for contracts.
Unfortunately, Molly had little experience dealing with those kinds of things so she ended up with a contract with a bad company that often took advantage of those they worked with.
They were always making great demands of their talents and were always making demands for changes to be made even if it was unreasonable enough to affect the overall development of their creations.
Not only would they be forced to keep working for unreasonable hours but they would be expected to make changes like that while having to take the blame for when those changes caused the viewership to drop.
A lot of the managers of the talents paid little attention to the work of the talents causing them to interfere without proper knowledge of how to improve their work and get better ratings.
Since Molly was still quite young and experienced at the time, she had to abide by the contract and make changes that were requested of her causing her freedom as a creator to be controlled.
That was when she began working for even longer and was struggling to find direction in her webcomic until Tiffany finally stepped in.
Tiffany felt sorry for Molly who was suffering like that so although she never read the webcomic or knew anything about it, Tiffany still felt that it was worth stepping in to help Molly out of a tough situation.
Molly seemed like a popular talent who was on the rise but she was crushed by those she was contracted with causing her viewership to drop drastically.
The moment that her importance dropped and they were thinking of dropping the contract with her once she was of no use to them anymore, another company came forward to negotiate the changing of the contract over to them.
They were happy to send Molly off to others since her worth had already been squeezed out of her but what they did not know was that would be one of their biggest mistakes.
The moment that Molly was signed onto the new company under the direction of Tiffany, she was given complete freedom of creation and since the company had purchased back the rights to the webcomic, Molly could begin once again with it.
With the help of the company, it began to restart the same webcomic from scratch introducing a work that was free from the influence of others and was purely her creation.
Many parts that she did not like previously were cut out or altered.
Although the audience was quite sceptical at first about the restart of the webcomic in such a way, they soon found that they enjoyed it even more than the previous version causing it to become even more successful than before.
