Everything that Tiffany was putting into action was slowly starting to move forward a little at a time.
Even her training was beginning to proceed forward as she devoted her efforts toward improving herself.
The state of her body was slowly improving as she absorbed more materials from the toys and other things she absorbed.
There had been no further movement inside of the gang but there was a noticeable change that had taken place since the previous event.
The situation was handled well enough to let the other gang know what took place so that bought Butch's gang some time to handle some of their internal affairs without having to worry about a sudden war.
Both sides had suffered losses and betrayals from within while Butch's side had been lucky enough to make it out alive to tell the tale.
The suspicion that everything was just a ploy was not completely put aside so while it looked like everything had been solved for the time being, they would not forget what had happened so easily until there was a true culprit before their eyes.
As a way of placating them, the captives that were caught from Butch's side and a couple of the living enemies were given over to the other gang as a sign of good faith.
They had already been tortured to get information out of them but there was nothing conclusive gained from them.
Each time that there had been something gained from someone, there was nothing else that could help look into the matter further.
Those who were behind it all did too well to conceal their identities so every interrogation ended with dead ends once the interrogation reached such a stage.
If there was anything that was gained then it was some smaller bits of information that helped to understand how they were approached and recruited along with some other things.
In a room that had been completely empty with there only being four walls, a closed door and wooden floorboard, there were two figures moving around quickly.
The speed they moved around was still visible to ordinary people so there was nothing too extraordinary about their movements.
Those two figures belonged to Tiffany and Butch who were busy sparring together.
Despite there being a clear difference in age and power between them, Butch still chose to train her personally.
From all the experience he had picked up over the years facing life and death situations again and again, he was probably the best possible teacher she could get given the current circumstances.
While he did tell her that he would not hold back on her and would train her properly, the abilities he showed were far from what he was capable of.
If he used his full power then perhaps the fight would be over very quickly and Tiffany would suffer a lot of damage so he had to lower himself enough to give her a challenge but to not go too easy on her.
Butch moved in for an attack causing Tiffany to widen her eyes due to her being unable to keep up with him completely.
The moment that he made contact with her when his fist met her face, she could feel the impact pushing her back.
Although she had taken quite a strong hit from Butch, it did not seem like she had been damaged too much in the process.
Her upper body fell back without any resistance as it began falling toward the ground detached from the lower body.
Her upper body crashed down yet her lower body was still upright and moving at the two feet were still firmly on the ground before sending out a kick toward Butch.
Butch had excellent instincts and combat sense so even a trick like that would not phase him in the slightest.
He reached out to catch the foot before it got to him causing the leg to pause there for a moment.
What took place was quite a strange sight as the foot detached from the leg and retreated.
It lost the balance it had a little so it fell to the ground near where the upper body had begun to crawl toward.
What Tiffany had been trying to do during their fight was to find ways to reduce the damage she took and to prevent herself from getting caught.
If she suddenly detached a part of her body when it was hit then the damage taken from the impact itself would be reduced slightly as a result since there would be no resistance from the rest of her body.
It did not completely negate the force of the attacks but it was a good way for he to reduce some of it and it was working quite well.
The problem came after that since she would still need to retrieve that body part or have it move back toward her.
If she was caught during attacking, defending or trying to escape then she had found that there were times when having detachable parts was quite an excellent ability to have.
It did mean losing a body part using either of the two methods but when she was in a crisis and needed to keep herself alive for a little bit longer then losing body parts or separating her body to reduce her damage was a risk worth taking.
It was not like she lost control over her body parts when they separated so they could prove to be useful during the fight even if she was not connected to them.
The hand belonging to her was moving a little but Butch held onto it as he did not want to let it go. "You lose again Tiffany. Here, put yourself back together."
He threw the hand he had in his grasp back over to Tiffany who was reassembling with her lower body again.
Through their repeating sparring sessions, Tiffany had gradually improved herself enough to begin exploring new ways to use her unique body type.
That included manipulating her detached body parts so it had caught Butch by surprise once or twice as she tried to set a trap for him.
Unfortunately, she did not have the power to be able to overpower him or land an effective hit when using those detached body parts that suddenly sprung into action after she pretended to be unable to move them by not actively manipulating them once she lost them.
Most people would choose to discard those parts the moment that they separated since their main priority was catching her.
The detached body parts seemed like they would be no threat and they would no longer be able to move but that was where her trap would take effect.
