Several days passed by quite peacefully as Tiffany adjusted to her new environment.
It was quite strange to have so many new things available to her.
She was living around gangsters and people who would be considered as villains but she did not mind it.
They treated each other similarly to how a family behaved around each other.
It was a huge step up from how she had previously lived.
Her many years at the carnival had made her cautious and on edge all the time.
Each moment could be another time when she could be sold off or targeted by her greedy adoptive parents.
When she started to get a little close to one of her adoptive siblings, they disappeared from her life very suddenly.
It was difficult to form close bonds and there was always a feeling of being in an unstable environment.
Her new home came with dangers of its own but it felt a lot more comfortable.
There were moments when she almost forgot about the potential threats as she started to enjoy herself a little more.
There were some things that she could get done but it would take some time for there to be any real results from such actions.
Nothing would come to her immediately and there was still so much that needed to be done.
Meanwhile, much further away from the city, there was a small quaint store that was full of all kinds of toys and dolls.
There were many types along with rare collectibles and other unique things.
Each one seemed to have been carefully cared for and was well maintained.
Nobody would ever suspect that it was a location that was home to a villain.
The owner of the shop was quite old in appearance and did not have anything strange about his overall appearance.
Either he had a Quirk that was not so obvious that would affect his appearance or he did not have one at all.
Not every human in the world possessed a Quirk and among them, there was a lessening amount of them that were appearing in the world with each generation.
Quirks were becoming more dominant in society and Quirks were evolving more with each passing generation.
It was quite rare for a villain to not possess a Quirk but it was not entirely impossible.
All it took to become a villain was to make a name for oneself doing wicked deeds and for the local police to not have the confidence to catch them alone.
If they were villains then the heroes would be required to aid the police in tracking them down and capturing them.
Unfortunately not every face and name of each villain was completely known to the public.
Just like how heroes hid behind their aliases to protect their private lives, villains could do the very same.
The old man was such a villain who cleverly used his expertise for his benefit while maintaining his current life as a cover for his other activities.
Nobody would ever suspect the kind old man who sold toys at an old toy store.
Nobody except Tiffany.
Tiffany had come across him by chance but she found that it could be beneficial in the future so she remembered him and kept note of him.
She had something on him so it was possible that he would be unable to deny her requests if she asked for something.
Tiffany had watched over him from one of the toys that had been brought in to be fixed and witnessed and heard many things that could be used against him.
The most important thing she came to know was his secret identity and she overheard the discussion he was having with a client over a job he was to carry out.
She gained something that could be used against him.
Tiffany had learned early that information was power and her ability could pry into the lives of many unsuspecting people.
Almost everyone had some hidden dark side or secret they did not want to be revealed to the world.
Sometimes those hidden parts remained hidden behind closed doors within their own homes or where they felt they were safe yet Tiffany was able to infiltrate into such places with ease.
Nobody had yet to show signs of possessing a Quirk that had such capabilities and if they did, they would be either controlled heavily, recruited by a specialized unit, or would be eliminated early depending on the stance of those who discovered someone possessed such a dangerous Quirk.
There were some with the belief that if they could not control something or it could not be a benefit to them then the potential danger from such a Quirk would pose too big of a threat in the future.
If they could not have it for themselves then the safest thing to do would be to eliminate it before the potential started to manifest itself.
