Chapter 29 - Appointment

After listening to Puck, Tiffany met with Butch while discussing some of her future plans.

She wanted to slowly bring in the funds she had been saving up from the rest of her siblings that had been holding onto them.

Depending on how they respond to such a request would be what would help her decide whether they would be trustworthy enough to include them in anything else that required a great deal of trust.

For the time being, Tiffany needed to get used to her current environment and lifestyle.

It was not the kind of life she was used to and even with her most recent upgrades, there was a limit to how much she could absorb and upgrade her body.

It was a gradual process and compared to others who had a Quirk, her body was still very fragile when faced with their powers.

If teenage students could tear apart battle robots made of metal with the use of their Quirk then her body would be destroyed very easily.

The power of some heroes in training and even some villains was very scary.

It was not at all level that Tiffany could confidently step forward so that she could fight them off.

Luckily she had some methods to overcome some situations but her main body would be unable to step out personally when it came to some tasks.

Tiffany already made some plans earlier to help out if needed while she was also looking into another one of her contacts nearby.

She was in the back seat of a car while Puck was in the driver seat.

Both of them had taken a long drive before going out to buy expensive and professional suits.

They were both dressed quite well and looked the part to be going on some kind of official business of some kind.

Tiffany looked outside of the window for some time before turning her attention to the street signs of them entering another city.

They soon found themselves driving for another hour or so until they arrived at a large factory.

Puck stepped outside of the car before coming around to open the door personally for Tiffany who stepped out once Puck offered her a hand.

With their target in sight, Tiffany walked toward the factory and entered the main entrance where she was greeted by a receptionist. "Do you have an appointment? Is there anything I can do for you?"

Tiffany stepped forward out of the cover of Puck before arriving in front of the counter. "Shareholder Tiff is here to speak with the CEO."

The receptionist looked her up and down before frowning. "Stop lying kid. There is no way you are a shareholder. Stop wasting my time."

Puck was unable to control her anger especially when she had a gangster upbringing where she often had to settle scores to earn respect from others.

Just as she was about to step forward, Tiffany held her arm out in front of her to block her.

Tiffany remained calm as her green eyes looked toward the receptionist. "I own 51% of the shares. If you do not believe me then I guess I have no choice."

She snapped her finger causing Puck to suddenly move the way she wanted.

Puck opened the briefcase that had many official documents inside and among them were official statements of the shares she had in total within the company. "'If it was not for her taking a liking to such a place then this place may not even exist'

Puck held in her inner thoughts as she briefly showed the official documents. "I am acting on behalf of the guardian of Tiff until she comes of legal age but every one of her words and decisions are my decisions too,"

Her meaning was that it was Tiffany who everyone should consult and talk to if they needed to seek out someone who would be the decision maker.

Usually when shares and other company matters were involved, a lot of legal issues were involved for those that had yet to reach a certain age.

Obtaining shares and other things was quite difficult to do for someone who was not old enough so someone else usually held onto them and made acted as a guardian until such a person came of age.

When someone was in such a position, it was easy for the children who inherited or gained such power to be nothing more than puppets to be used by the elders so it was difficult for them to gain the respect they needed during important times when they needed it.

Since Tiffany had the power to make her own decisions and the adult was only acting as an intermediary in the process, it was even more important for the other party to realise how important Tiffany was.

What was most important was how Tiffany held more than fifty percent of the shares of the company.

If she wanted to do so then she could have the whole direction of the company turned upside down and have people fired with just a single word from her.

The receptionist was shocked and went quiet for some time upon realising that they had misjudged the situation.

They jumped up from their seat and disappeared through a back room to inform their boss of the arrival of an important person. 'I blew it! This job was already hard enough to get! I hope they will let this go..'

They soon arrived and hit on the door of the secretary of the boss of the company. "Does the boss have an appointment scheduled today?"
