Chapter 221 - Arthur's Anger

The room was heavy with anticipation as Arthur's furious glare bore into Peter. The atmosphere crackled with tension, and the other students held their breath, their eyes darting between the two combatants. Peter's calm demeanor remained unshaken, and a knowing smile played at the corners of his lips.

"You want to challenge me, Arthur?" Peter's voice was steady, his eyes locked onto Arthur's with unwavering confidence.

Arthur pushed himself off the floor, his body aching from the impact. A mixture of frustration and humiliation fueled the fire burning within him. He clenched his fists so hard.

'Arthur act cool. Don't let the humans know that you are a Vampire.' He thought to himself.

Arthur had real anger issues and no matter how angry he was. He wouldn't let his existence as a Vampire be exposed in the open. So he was still going to move at a Human Speed. But he had intended to move a little quicker than last time, but at least it would still be a speed, Humans could reach. So he wouldn't still look extraordinary.

Peter raised an eyebrow, intrigued by Arthur's sudden determination. "Very well, Arthur. But remember, this is a controlled training environment. We're here to learn, not to cause harm."

Without another word, Arthur lunged at Peter with blinding speed, his movements almost too swift for the human eye to follow. He aimed a fierce punch at Peter's midsection, but Peter effortlessly sidestepped the attack, allowing Arthur's fist to sail through thin air.

Peter's form seemed almost fluid as he flowed gracefully around Arthur's strikes, his movements a dance of precision and control. He countered Arthur's attacks with calculated ease, using minimal effort to deflect each blow. It was a mesmerizing display of martial prowess that left the other students in awe.

As Arthur continued his assault, a realization began to dawn on him. No matter how fast or powerful he became, Peter always seemed to be one step ahead. Arthur's frustration grew as he found himself unable to land a single hit on his opponent.

"Impressive, isn't it?" Peter's voice cut through the air, his words ringing with a hint of amusement. "Combat isn't just about brute force. It's about strategy, timing, and adaptability."

Arthur's anger intensified, and he channeled his energy into a flurry of rapid attacks. He unleashed a series of lightning-fast punches and kicks, each strike aimed at a different part of Peter's body. But Peter continued to evade effortlessly, his movements fluid and graceful.

In a burst of frustration, Arthur's eyes flashed crimson for an instant before he regained control. He knew that succumbing to his vampire instincts would be dangerous, both for himself and the others in the room. But this was enough time for Peter to notice.

'What... That kind of eyes....It turned red.' Peter thought.

"You're holding back," Arthur growled, his voice dripping with resentment. "Why won't you fight seriously?"

Peter's gaze remained unyielding. "I'm teaching you a valuable lesson. Power without control is meaningless. Your anger blinds you, but true strength comes from mastering your emotions."

With renewed determination, Arthur gathered his focus. He slowed his movements slightly, allowing himself to analyze Peter's actions more closely. He began to notice patterns in Peter's defense, subtle openings that he could exploit.

Arthur adjusted his strategy, aiming his attacks at the weak points he had identified. He feigned a strike at Peter's face, only to redirect his momentum into a swift kick aimed at Peter's side. The move caught Peter off guard, but even before the foot had hit his ribs. Peter threw backflip and thus kicked Arthur sending him backwards.

As Arthur stumbled backward, Peter quickly recovered, his eyes darting from side to side. He could sense Arthur's next attack before it even came. Just as Arthur lunged forward, Peter spun around and delivered a roundhouse kick to Arthur's side, sending him crashing into the wall. The impact dazed Arthur, and he struggled to regain his balance. Peter took advantage of the opening, darting forward and grabbing Arthur's arm. With a twist, he sent Arthur sprawling to the ground.

Arthur groaned as he hit the floor, winded and disoriented.

As Peter watched Arthur struggling to get up, he felt a wave of regret wash over him. He hadn't meant to hurt Arthur so badly, and now he felt like a monster. He took a step forward, reaching out a hand to help Arthur up. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to do that," he said. "It was a mistake."

Arthur looked up at Peter, his eyes clouded with pain and confusion. He hesitated for a moment, then took Peter's hand and let him pull him to his feet. "It's okay," he said, his voice hoarse.

"I hope i have been able to teach you that Anger is not the way." Peter said. "What's your name."

"Arthur... Arthur Lockwood." Arthur said.

Peter gave him a smile. Arthur went back to his seat which was close to Miller's. All the students in the room were puzzled of how strong Peter was.

The most puzzled person was Miller.

'I really did much didn't i.' Peter thought. 'I shouldn't have attacked the boy like that. Now see what i have done.'

When they were fighting, the time Peter attacked Arthur. A bad memory entered his head and that was why he attacked Arthur. He didn't intend to do it and now he felt bad.

"The class is closed for today." Peter said.

Students started to mumble among themselves, but the way Peter looked at them with fire in his eyes. They Immediately shut up.

"Arthur, I would advice you go to the clinic to check yourself." Peter said as he left.

Arthur chuckled. Of course, he wasn't going to go to the clinic, he would heal. He was a Vampire.

Right now the person he had interest in was Miller. So he looked at Miller. But Miller wasn't standing beside him anymore. Miller was now with Alex and Catherine.

'This boy's smell is strange..What exactly is he.' He Thought. 'At least, Alex knows him so it would be easier for me to gather information about this boy.'
