Chapter 52 - The Story Begins...

Miller and James found themselves seated in a spacious room, indulging in the exotic flavors of the Amargan delicacy known as Komik'Nata. The rich aroma wafted through the air, tantalizing their taste buds. The duo savored each mouthful, reveling in the unique blend of spices and textures that danced on their tongues.

As they savored their meal, the room fell into a tranquil silence, interrupted only by the rhythmic sounds of their utensils clinking against their plates. Suddenly, a resounding knock reverberated through the room, originating from the imposing wooden door.

Curiosity piqued, Miller eagerly rose from his seat and approached the door. With an anticipatory breath, he swung it open, revealing a member of the Anti-Meta Human traveler soldiers stationed outside. A warm smile graced the soldier's face as he stood before Miller.

"We're embarking on a research expedition. Given Derek's detainment for questioning, both you and James are unable to return to Earth. Would you be interested in joining us on this captivating endeavor?" the soldier inquired, his voice brimming with enthusiasm.

Miller's eyes sparkled with excitement. Adventurous at heart, he yearned to witness sights beyond the boundaries of his home planet, Earth. "Yes," he responded eagerly, his voice tinged with anticipation.

James and Miller obediently trailed behind the soldiers, venturing outside into an expansive hall that loomed before them. The atmosphere crackled with anticipation as they beheld a congregation of formidable Anti-Meta Human traveler soldiers. Clad in imposing suits of advanced technological armor, these soldiers appeared as if they were poised for an imminent war.

The soldiers consistently donned this intricate attire whenever they embarked on research expeditions on the uncharted planet of Citarada. The planet remained an enigma to humanity, its secrets and creatures shrouded in mystery.

Knowing the inherent dangers that lurked within Citarada, the Anti-Meta Human traveler soldiers prepared themselves for the worst possible scenarios. Their suits, enveloping their entire bodies, bore an uncanny resemblance to metallic exoskeletons. Gleaming in a resplendent silver hue, these suits possessed a remarkable functionality. When their fists clenched, the wearers could unleash powerful laser beams. The entirety of the suits' silver surface featured resilient protection, complemented by two robust transparent visors that granted the wearers the ability to see through the bodies of the enigmatic beasts they encountered.

These suits, nearly impervious to destruction, had been meticulously refined and enhanced over time to achieve a state of near-perfection. While the Anti-Meta Human traveler soldiers were all mutants in their own right, not all mutants possessed overwhelming power. Therefore, the profound necessity for this formidable suit of armor was embraced by all, ensuring their collective protection in the face of the unknown perils that awaited them on their expedition.

Perched atop a raised platform, a resolute figure commanded attention. Standing tall among the Anti-Meta Human Traveler soldiers was Aurora Holmes, a charismatic and determined female leader. Her presence exuded authority as she assumed control over the research plan on the enigmatic planet of Citarada.

As she stepped forward, her voice resounded through the room, capturing the undivided focus of everyone present. The moment her words graced the air, a hush fell over the gathering, a palpable stillness that stifled even the faintest murmur. A faint smile graced Aurora's lips, accentuating the warmth that emanated from her as her helmet remained removed, revealing her visage to all.

Gazing upon her comrades with genuine care, she began to address them, each word resonating with profound meaning. "Greetings, esteemed comrades," she spoke, her voice laced with a blend of authority and compassion. "Within our ranks, we are a family bound by a common purpose, willing to risk our very lives to protect one another. As we embark on this perilous journey, we must remain vigilant, for we shall undoubtedly encounter creatures of unparalleled might."

With a brief pause, she continued, her words carrying an air of caution. "We may confront beasts hitherto unknown to humankind, creatures whose strength exceeds our comprehension. In such instances, it is our duty to swiftly relay their presence through our AI system. Each one of us bears the responsibility to respond to such incidents and unite at the location. Remember, my comrades, the majority of these beasts are dangerous entities, but appearances can deceive."

Her voice softened, emphasizing empathy and restraint. "Do not be quick to judge, for not every fearsome creature seeks to harm us. If a beast does not present an immediate threat, exercise prudence and leave it undisturbed." Another pause ensued, allowing her words to linger in the hearts of her comrades.

"Now, my fellow soldiers, let us venture forth, resolute in our purpose, and continue our noble quest upon this unfathomable planet—Citarada!" she exclaimed with fervor, igniting a surge of enthusiasm among the soldiers, whose cheers reverberated through the room, their spirits galvanized by Aurora's inspirational words.

"Who is that?" Miller asked the Anti-Meta Human travelers soldiers that was standing close to him. it was the same Anti-Meta Human Traveler soldier that had informed him if he wanted to join. His name was Ethan Smith.

"It's Aurora Holmes, the commander of this set of soldiers. Anti-meta human travellers shelters are so many because each shelter is given a jurisdiction to research on a particular area. This is the first time this Shelter has gone for making research. This is the youngest shelter on this planet and that is this Shelter Research department head." said Ethan as he gave Miller a little pat on the shoulders.

In a realm shrouded in impenetrable darkness, devoid of any discernible location, an enigmatic place existed beyond the confines of the known universe. The absence of vitality permeated the air, rendering it inhospitable to any form of life. Amidst this desolate expanse stood a figure, cloaked in tattered garments woven from coarse brown sackcloth.

This peculiar man, clad in medieval attire, was none other than the mysterious individual who had revealed to James the identity of Miller, the long-awaited Savior. It was he who had orchestrated Miller's teleportation from the Tournament to the enigmatic realm of Kor'me'Lore, forging an indissoluble bond between Miller and the System.

Suspended in the unfathomable darkness, the man defied gravity itself, his form barely discernible save for the faint illumination cast by his weathered attire. He existed in a space that would be perceived by humans as an utter void, an abyss of nothingness.

As he hovered there, a faint smile graced his lips, for a voice now whispered into his ears—a voice reminiscent of the very System embedded within Miller's mind. The words uttered by the System resonated in his consciousness:

"[MASTER, THE CHOSEN ONE NOW POSSESSES THE UNFATHOMABLE POWERS OF A THROSK'BOK]"

"[HE HAS ATTAINED HIS INAUGURAL METAMORPHOSIS]"

"[SHOULD THE MOMENTOUS CONFLICT UNLEASH ITS FURY IMMEDIATELY?]"

"No," declared the enigmatic figure, his identity still unknown. "We cannot initiate the cataclysmic war just yet. He has yet to transcend into the epitome of his destined purpose. The tale that binds us has only just begun."

Who is this enigmatic figure? What does he mean by cataclysmic war? And what could it mean for the mysterious "he" to "transcend into the epitome of his destined purpose?"
