Corbin again found himself near Lord Favian's villa when he was sure that Lord Favian was busy in a meeting with the townspeople and Corbin's friends about Roger's missing case.
It was the perfect chance to speak with Sylvia.
Corbin followed the same route which he used last time to find Sylvia. It was easier this time as he knew her room. The window was closed like always, and Sylvia's raven was not in sight.
The sun would set in about an hour. And Favian would need about more than one hour to return. So Corbin had enough time to speak with Sylvia.
He knocked on her window twice. He tried again after a few seconds before the window was pushed open, and Sylvia's face appeared in his sight.
But as soon as he saw her, the air was knocked out of his lungs, and his lips parted in shock.
"Sylvia?"
