Sylvia stayed hidden behind a vase until Favian's most trusted man was gone, disappearing from her sight. She then slowly rose up and checked if that man was indeed gone.
She then carefully made her way to Favian's office. Images from the last time she was there flashed in front of her eyes. How Favian used that young girl for his dirty deeds made her disgusted to her core.
She lingered outside the closed door for a moment before she pushed it slightly. Peeking inside, her dark eyes searched for Favian, but the room was cold and silent, without any trace of that man.
"Where is he?" She whispered.
She closed the door and then turned her attention to his bedroom. Of course, he would be there. Where else could he be?
Sylvia took careful steps ahead. Holding onto the handle of the door, she pushed it slightly to open it just enough for her to look inside.
