Sylvia was heading toward her room as she felt a bit dizzy. She excused herself from Lord Favian and informed Gianna that she would be in her room and wished to not get disturbed for a while.
Sylvia didn't know what exactly she was expecting, but Favian didn't even concern about her health and that stung her a little.
Ignoring that, she picked up her pace toward her room which was located at the back of the villa. She dabbed the thin layer of perspiration that had formed on her forehead with her hand when she was suddenly pulled into a corner by someone.
Sylvia's heart lurched in her chest, but no sound came out of her mouth when her eye settled on the familiar face of Corbin.
Panic kicked in, and she tried to push him away, but he pinned her shoulders against a wall while his blue eyes frowned at her.
"What the hell are you doing here?" He demanded, not bothering to ask if she remembered her after all these months.
