"What happened?" He added, his eyes focused on the unpredictable lady before him.
Giavanna chuckled when she recalled that she was exactly like he had described.
Although everyone called and saw her as an angel, she had no trouble switching to being a bitch if it concerned her husband.
As she looked back now, she couldn't help but think that her old self was stupid.
"What happened was that I grew up," She replied, a dazzling smile plastered on her pretty face.
"You grew up?" Mr Elvis mumbled, looking up at the lady who just stood up.
"Weren't you all grown up a few years ago?" He quizzed.
"You won't understand, Uncle Elvis," Giavanna addressed him like she fondly did when she was a bit younger.
"Expect a reply from me soon," Giavanna assured him. She spun and strolled towards the glass entrance at her left-hand side.
Giavanna was just a few steps away from the restaurant's entrance when she suddenly halted in her tracks.
She acted as if she had just stepped on a poisonous snake.
"Gosh, what is that sweet-smelling fragrance!" Giavanna mumbled. Slowly, she turned and gaze at where the scent came from.
"It smells so fresh and sweet" She mumbled and licked her lips like a person who hadn't eaten for three days.
Almost in an instant Giavanna moved towards where the supposedly sweet fragrance she spoke of came from. The way she acted was as if she was under a strong spell.
She staggered, nearly bumping into people and things as she let the smell lead the way.
Meanwhile, in a VIP room on the second floor of the restaurant, two men sat opposite each other inside the spacious room.
Although varieties of beautiful dishes were displayed on the table, there was no sign that the occupants of the room had touched the meal.
Instead, only the two glasses on the table were filled with wine.
"Mr Dominic, what exactly are you staring at?" The man in the blue suit who realised that he had been speaking to himself all this while demanded.
"Your focus had been on that corner of the wall ever since we stepped foot into the room. Do I have the honour to ask what exactly you have been staring at?" The man quizzed.
Despite that he has been ignored for reasons best known to his companion, he dared not get upset in front of a big shot like Dominic Rowen.
"Mr Dominic..."
"Shit!" He remarked as he jerked to his feet startling his bewildered partner in the process.
"She is out to cause a blood bath here and unfortunately for her, I can't let that happen since she chose my brother's favourite restaurant as her stage," He mumbled and hurried to the brown door that served as the entrance.
"Who is…" Dominic vanished from the room before his companion could finish his sentence.
Back at where they parked their car, Roman and Zeus who had been waiting outside the car for Giavanna hastened to block Mr Elvis' path when they saw him come out of the restaurant alone.
"Where is Babe?" blurted the anxious Zeus, looking at the entrance as if he would see Giavanna walk out of it.
"Who are you young men and who are you talking about?" Mr Elvis asked as he peered at the two men's faces.
If not for the fact that Roman and Zeus dressed nicely, he would have mistaken them for people with bad intentions.
"We know you and Miss Giavanna met up so why are you the only one out here? Where is she?" Roman went into detail after he realised that the elderly man didn't understand Zeus' question.
Instead of replying, Mr Elvis took a careful look at the two handsome men in front of him. He nodded his head as if he had recalled something when he was done thoroughly assessing them.
"I didn't know that Miss Giavanna had finally decided to let her bodyguards accompany her..."
"Will you fucking stop wasting our time and tell us where she is?" The impatient Zeus gasped, his piercing glares shot at the astounded Mr Elvis.
"I don't know why you both are so anxious but all I want to say is that Miss Giavanna left the restaurant a while back," Mr Elvis said the words they wanted to hear.
"We have been standing guard here and never saw her come out, so what the hell are you talking about, old man?" Zeus retorted, acting as if he wanted to grab the elderly man by the collar.
"I am telling the truth. It's left for you both whether or not to believe me," Mr Elvis, who found Zeus' words offensive, stated and strolled to where his driver was already waiting for him.
"If what the man said that Babe left the restaurant a while back is true and we didn't see her leave then that means she must still be inside the restaurant. Let's search for her," Roman suggested. Without further wasting time, the two handsome guys dashed towards the restaurant entrance as if they were being chased by a ghost.
As Roman and Zeus searched for Giavanna on the ground floor, the said lady was seen in the corridor of the first-floor restroom.
Giavanna's thirst grew wilder as she got closer to where the fragrance came from.
After taking a few more steps Giavanna paused in front of a milky colour door that had the sign FEMALE RESTROOM.
She was just about to reach out her hand and pulled the door open when a figure appeared behind her from nowhere and grabbed her hand.
Without turning to see who stopped her Giavanna raised her right hand, and held the man's hand. She tried to shove him aside but he didn't budge despite that she applied a lot of force.
Giavanna growled, spun and peered at the guy's face with her eyes which had turned crimson red.
"I think you have missed your way, Miss," Dominic muttered, his fierce glares settled on Giavanna's face. As he waited for her to make a move, he didn't make the mistake of releasing her hand.
'Stan, I kept my promise to you and had intended to keep it this way for as long as I could. She is the one who broke the rule first, you can't blame me for being merciless,'
Dominic grinned wickedly.
He slid his unoccupied hand into his trouser's pockets. Just when he tried to bring out the weapon he had hidden away, Giavanna pushed him against the wall and pressed her body against his.
