Chapter 3 - THe RUSH IN THE CAFE.

"What was that? Did she just look down on me?" He asked himself. He was about to go question her but he saw that she was still gazing upon him, smiling brightly. He felt scared for the first time in his entirety. Ever since he has been handling , working with students, no one ever made him feel small and scared at the same time that he made up his mind to avoid her completely.

"It's your popular mentor once again, see you in my next video, my soon to be Mentees and those who are "mines" already, enjoy the rest of the day." Moore came into the lab to find some of his course mates watching a video on YouTube. "What took you so long, Man?" His partner for practical who also happens to be his one and only best friend from a young age asked. Moore sniffed with a straight look on his face,"I guess you could say I chose to avoid the sun." His response didn't leave a particular impression, although he felt a slight sense of disappointment as well as entitlement in Moore's personal vendetta "Well, it is what it is, you never give me or anyone else a clear answer. Just so you are reminded, I always figure it out" Sola thought to lay emphasis. "Alright then, stop asking questions and pouting" Moore teased him with a smile and he couldn't help but flow with the vibe. "Alright, the Physics Lab Lecturer will soon be back and we should have a clear team by then ,we need three students more. Moore went further to two female students who looked like they couldn't mingle and it clearly made him believe they are one of the new transfer students while Sola walked up to a guy who sat at a corner trying to fix the sample equipment placed down by the lecturer, himself. "You must be a genius. You can do this by yourself? I am sure my team and I will be blessed to have you on our team " Sola wanted to continue with his flattery scheme so he could convince the student "erm, I am Darius. I am only following the practical manual, there isn't anything special about it if I may state...… (he pauses) but I will join your team and save us the whole stress of being reshuffled" Darius cut Sola off. "Alas! a team we are" Sola exclaimed while spreading his arms to express his victory to both Moore who stared at him from afar and Darius, right in front of him.

"Awwwwwww" Blue yawned and stretched while she walked down the stairs outside the hall. A clear fact, the Examination just ended. "How was it?" Sharon asked Beulah with an uncanny satisfaction. Beulah who could clearly read her but has no intention of breaking her answered plainly, "it was good."Blue made sure to interfere as she could discern from Sharon's posture that she is not good with that plain, a response from Beulah. "Well , you should know what she means without her being explicit. She means, did you answer all of the questions? Like, every single questions from all three sections?" Beulah's attention was stolen by the head supervisor when he came out of the hall heading towards another hall. Beulah ran after him to speak with him for a while before coming back to the girls. "I am so sorry, Blue and Sharon, I had to go settle something important with the supervisor, and I know what you want to know but speaking from experience, telling you if I have completed the whole question given or not has never made any of you feel any great and for heaven's sake, we already submitted our answers, it really won't change anything , I give a response or not. Therefore, let's not keep each other here, we have other things to prepare for, let's head to the cafeteria, no?" Beulah held Sharon by her left hand and head towards the cafeteria. "Well, we will still talk about it in the hostel. You know me, I am only scared of trying my best and failing, so allow all of us do a revision tomorrow morning, we do not have any class for the rest of the week nor test nor impromptu examinations, let's seize the opportunity this time, okay?" Sharon stretched her hand towards Blue to hold her right hand and got into the cafeteria in that manner. "Alright, then" Beulah assured both Blue and Sharon. They got to the food counter and met an absurd line of students waiting to get food. "Just when I thought we could get what we really want to eat and rest, what is this situation again?" Beulah groaned. "What do you mean again? This happens almost every evening, you should be used to it by now" Sharon asked looking worried for Beulah. "Well, I lost my bracelet this morning on my way for exam, the one my mom gave to me before she died and it is still 2pm, this is too much for me." Beulah complained like a baby and it made Sharon smile. "Why are you smiling? Do I have something on my face?" Beulah asked Sharon Falling into the long line. "Nothing. I just find it amusing when you complain once in a while, you never really do that. " Sharon stated "and I think you will find it since your bracelet have initials, don't be disheartened" Blue patted Beulah and ran off to the front of the line. Apparently, three male students she could recognize and one she almost dated a month ago just waved at her. "Hey, hi" Blue greeted him and started conversing with all three of them acting so familiar with each of them. "There she goes again. I hope this time, it favors us" Sharon grinned. "Has there ever been any time it never did?" Beulah chuckled and watched how Blue giggled from time to time , her phone rang and she got distracted from her watch , "Hello, it's Beulah on the line, who am I unto?"
