I wonder why you chose this time to practice" Sola scanned through his body but made sure he didn't look into Tola's eyes, it felt unfamiliar . "Thanks, guys. As always, for coming to check up on me, do not be awkward with Tola, he really does not mean any harm, he is going through some rough times, cut him some slack and I am truly sorry. I will make sure to never make you guys worry this much anymore" Moore said but Caleb gave a dry chuckle, "really? Can you and will you do that for us? We will be glad." He hurriedly opened their rooms' door, avoided everyone and went straight to his bed to not entertain anymore conversation. "I am sorry" Tola tapped Moore and walked down the hall to his room. Moore watched him leave to his room so he could go find him later on. "We should go in now , right?" Sola asked Moore and they all went into their room, went straight to their beds with no exchange of words. Moore felt like he would apologize to them the next day before heading for class. "Okay, guys? Are you ready?" Beulah pulled off all her clothes, standing naked. She looked at Blue and Sharon one last time to see if they would change their minds but she could read in their minds what they truly wanted. She took three deep breaths , moved two steps and started changing from her legs up to her shoulder, then her eyes, nose and mouth changed . Blue and Sharon held each other's hands, they gasped for air but felt really comfortable with the beauty right in front of them, they wondered if it was truly their best friend , Beulah. Blue walked up to Beulah, "you look slimmer, I mean a creature with golden beads wrapped around her waist, cone-like crown and skin with blubbers, No this is amazing. You look like a mermaid but you do not have a tail, only golden blubbers and golden beads and crown around your body, you are beautiful, extremely beautiful" Blue had hesitant eyes but she moved closer to Beulah and caressed her cheeks while Sharon watched from afar, she didn't know what she truly felt but she could not deny how beautiful Beulah looks in that form, she thought about how Beulah always knows what they were thinking, what they want all the time but she noticed Beulah was not speaking in that form, so she thought to ask out of mere curiosity, "why aren't you saying a thing? We do not despise you, why then are you only smiling and not saying a thing. Beulah smiled and tears dropped down her cheeks, "I can not" she nodded negatively without being embarrassed, then changed back to her human form , put on the clothes she dropped on the floor earlier and sat on her bed crisscrossed across the room with her eyes closed . Sharon wanted to keep asking her questions but she snapped her fingers and Sharon felt something strangely stopping her from speaking , she kept mumbling until Beulah snapped her fingers to allow her talk again. "I told you guys. I am three things, now that's one of them. I am truly famished by the way and I am sure you guys are too, so let's talk tomorrow when we are up properly, she picked her bag with food and started arranging the meals before eating, ignoring the silence that reigned in the room while she pulled that off, she made sure to seal her ears to not hear what is running through their minds but she couldn't, this made her almost scream but she held it in by munching on her meal like a crazy person, raising her head towards the top of the room to stop tears from running down her eyes.
Sabi woke up in her room only to find leaves on her bed. She is the most popular student in the school distinct from other females with a 6'1 height, the only sixteen years old in her third year, her level of maturity and ability to handle every task academically. She is popular yet has no friends since students were introduced to her indirectly by her mother who happens to be the university's vice president. The way she flaunts her during summer programs, how some lecturers cherished her pissed some of the students, they also spread the notion that her mother is properly the reason why she is opportune to be in the university, in her third year and at that age. They believed there was no way she is willing to study and be that bright at that age mainly for her sake or out of mere personal wishes. Some would come to her out of mere curiosity, with anxiety and hope that they probably wanted to be her friend, she would smile only to be dissatisfied with the attention they give to her achievements in the university, the silly questions about her mental health , if her mother is not bullying her at home and enforcing her to succeed. She had a dream about being tied hard to a huge tree and her mouth bandaged, she cried for help but no one came to her rescue until she screamed out of frustration and thick fig leaves walked it's way from the ground to her body, removed the bandage from her mouth and the thick rubber used to tie her down, and went straight back to the ground. She wanted to scream ,"I am free" but woke up to see some of the thick fig leaves on the bed, worried about her roommate finding out before she figures out what that was for, she picked them off her bed and kept it in her box, sat against the wall on her bed, remembering when she went to her mother during her first year to ask for a personal room
