Henry wore a black hoodie and black pants before leaving his house. Of course, he couldn't use the front door since he was afraid of waking his mother. Which left him with only one option, his room window.
He landed on the ground silently and began walking through the bustling street. Although it was night time, it wasn't too late so people could seen walking on the streets.
Henry cares little about his surroundings as traversed the crowds and headed towards his destination.
Finally after 20 minutes of walking, he found himself standing in front of an extremely popular destination: The Guild Association.
Dozens of people were leaving and entering the buildings, yet there wasn't an ounce of traffic as the crowd moved in and out without a hitch.
While the outside looked like a normal high 20-story-high building, the inside was another story all by itself. If Henry was to describe it using one word, he would find that the only word that would fit the scene before him would be magnificent.
While the outside looked fine, it was a far cry from the magnificence of the inside.
"Get out of the way already. We don't have all day!" A man shouted from behind Henry.
Henry realized he was standing in the middle of the door and blocking the entrance for many of the people behind him.
While the door was large enough to let 4 burly men through without many problems, a single person holding up a section of the door would only clog up, making the outburst of the man behind him more than reasonable.
After a while, Henry finally found his way toward one of the receptionists.
"Welcome Sir, how may I help you?" The woman behind the counter asked with a professional smile.
While the woman in front of him was extremely beautiful, Henry did not care in the least.
"I want to register as a hunter." Henry replied while the woman's expression remained the same as she gave him a form to fill out.
After doing so, he returned the form; yet, despite thinking that this was the end of the process, the woman's next words told him otherwise.
"Would you like to be known as Henry, or would you like a code name?" She asked with a tilt of the head.
"Oh! I will be known as Henry, of course."
"Congratulations, Hunter Henry! Now all you have to do is go through the little testing procedure." The receptionist said before handing Henry a receipt with the number 199 on it.
Sitting down and waiting for what felt like an eternity, Henry finally heard his number being called up.
In this day and age, the guild association was one of the only organizations that weren't being controlled and manipulated by the government. Thus, all the information about a hunter stays with them.
By registering with the guild association, one would gain many benefits, one of the main ones being that registered people could enter dungeons owned by the guild's association. At the same time, unless someone were to commit a crime, they would always be protected by the guild's association no matter their background.
The only thing that mattered to them was power, and rightfully so, since power was the only thing that could dictate the life of people in this era of dungeons and monsters.
After walking up to one of the workers and showing them his receipt with the number 199 on it, the worker took him to the back before entering a room and showing Henry to one of the podiums.
"Please place your hand on the podium." The man instructed Henry and despite not seeing the man anywhere near him, he quickly complied with the order.

The man's voice spoke again shortly after.
"Alright. Your hunter's card should be printing itself. Please make your way to the front entrance. One of the workers should give you your card and guild wristwatch there."
Henry nodded with a look of understanding before strolling to the front door.
Bidding the receptionist farewell, Henry stepped out of the building and looked down at his wristwatch.
[Name: Henry Everett]
[Age: 18]
[Affinities: Fire]
[Rank: E+]
"E rank, huh... Well, I should have expected this.' Henry scratched his head before shrugging.
Ranks were based on the combination between mana, abilities and experience. A man with a weak ability struck at the E rank for the last 20 years might only be capable of moving towards the D rank if they were lucky, while someone with a strong yet no experience would be lucky if they got anything close to C rank.
In the minds of the guild association, power and abilities trumped all, yet one needed a balance between them all to get a solid foundation and a low death rate.
With a swipe of his finger, he changed the holographic screen to one of a map that showed several blue dots all over the city, but at the same time, he could see several red dots shining too, followed by a few purple dots as well.
"From my knowledge, blue should mean a normal dungeon and red should mean a temporary dungeon with a risk of breaking if not conquered within a certain amount of time. Even if I don't know what purple, I guess it should mean a Chaos dungeon. I should try out the blue." Henry inwardly concluded.
With the aid of his wristwatch, he walked toward one of the nearby dungeons.
****
Arriving at a highly guarded, Henry could not help but raise a brow at the display in front of him.
This was a high-tech area, and while it was made to look like this was just a governmental facility created, it was, in fact, the guild association that putting measures in place to ensure that no one would get close to the gate.
Leaving a dungeon gate accessible to the public would cause horrible consequences. An event like that happened way back in the past which caused the dungeon break and led to the destruction of an entire city.
"Halt! State your business!" One of the guards shouted and stepped forward with his weapon in hand while the other guard silently shook his head in both embarrassment and disappointment.
Clearly, it was the loudmouth's first day; otherwise, he wouldn't have acted like that.
Henry let out a heavy sigh upon seeing the guard funny behavior.
"There is no need to shout at everyone who comes around!" The other man's face palmed. Hearing this, Henry could not help but let out a chuckle while taking several steps towards the door.
"I'm hunter Henry. I'd like to enter the E-rank dungeon." Henry asked the face-palming man, his voice seemingly cold. Taking out his guild's card, he handed it to the man and waited for him to say something.
Hunter cards were the one thing that could not be forged without trillions of dollars.
"Seems legit. You may enter." The man said while giving Henry back his card. Hearing he was allowed entry, he moved towards the door and put his card in.
*Pshhh*
The door behind Henry opened, and he immediately entered. Without wasting time, he moved towards the 7-and-a-half-meter tall rapture in space-time. He took a deep breath and finally entered behind them.
*VHOOOM*
Henry felt a familiar sensation as his vision twisted and warped in many different ways, and before long, he felt as if he was about to get ejected, so he braced himself for the impact.
*Fwoooosh*
*Thud*
Leaving the dungeon gate, Henry found himself falling from 5 meters in the air.
Without thinking about it, He quickly regained his balance mid-air by discerning which was way up and which way was down, allowing him to land on both his feet.
*Thud*
After he landed, he looked around, surveying his surroundings and found himself in a deep forest and he see a snowy mountain up ahead.
The cold wind roared fiercely, but Henry walked into the depths of the snow-capped mountains fearlessly. He had to be fast so he couldn't stand idle.
The further inside he went, the lower the temperature.
In the depths of the snowy mountains, one would shiver uncontrollably due to the cold, but Roy didn't show a single sign of discomfort.
The bodily warm of his fire dragon physique and his thick hoodie was doing their part to ward off the cold.
As he continued walking, but a tingling feeling crawled up his spines. The hair on the back of his head also stood up. It was impossible for him not to guess what was going on.
"Danger!"
A faint and indistinct cold light shot out from the darkness behind him.
Just as it was about to reach him, Henry spun around, swinging his hand backwards in a horizontal slash.
Pah!
His hand hit something solid and hard, sending it flying away. It smashed into the tree 5 meters away. It lacked leaves and was covered with snow.
Thud!
Henry's eyes turned to the source of the sound.
The creature that attacked him was a snake that had its head shaped like an arrow. Henry recognized it as the Arrow Snake. Its arrowhead had a deep dent on it, and blood was dripping out its mouth.
"It seems I didn't hit it with enough force. Well I just have to hit it harder. "
"Hiss…"
The Arrow Snake was pissed off at Henry. He had smacked its face too hard, disfiguring it. It wanted to do nothing more than devour him whole.
It directed a venomous gaze his way.
In return, Henry angered it further by showing a smirk on his face.
An instant later, it shot out like an arrow, aiming to claim his life. They were eight meters apart, but It covered that distance in an instant and appeared before Henry with a mouth wide open. But this time, he was ready for it. Its jaw snapped into empty air. Henry had sidestepped its attack.
It landed eight steps away and turned around to attack Henry again, only to see a fire ball shooting through the air towards it.
The flames hungrily devoured the snake whole as it tried to escape, leaving only ashes behind.

Shortly after, he heard the familiar female voice and smiled.
