She concealed the scars on her face with a deftly applied layer of makeup. Her delicate elf ears, a distinguishing feature of her race, were hidden beneath a simple servant's hat, as if to avoid drawing attention to herself. Her hair, an unnaturally white hue, contrasted strikingly against her soft, fair complexion and gave her an almost otherworldly appearance, reminiscent of a winter's snowfall.

The young princess indulged in a considerable amount of beer, generously provided by a gracious gentleman. Gazing out the window, she suddenly remembered her imminent rendezvous with a nobleman near a tree at sunset. Despite feeling unsteady on her feet, she bravely made her way out of the tavern to board a carriage that would take her to her destination. Struggling to maintain her composure and concealing her true identity in her servant attire, the weary princess finally arrived at the designated spot, hoping that her nervousness and inebriation would not give her away.
