Chapter 1 - Abandoned.

The sky was overcast and it had been pouring outside for hours. The young woman, who appeared to be in her early twenties, was running out of the castle with her newborn child cradled tightly in her arms. She was stepping in each of the puddles on the way and her clothes were drenched in rain. Her breathing was heavy and ragged as she could hear the sound of dogs barking in the distance. As she made it to the city, she found an isolated porch and placed her child securely in front of it. She rang the doorbell and waited for someone to answer. As she heard people approaching, she ran away without looking back.

The four elderly individuals were enjoying their evening together, sipping tea and chatting away, when they heard the faint sound of a crying infant outside the porch. They immediately got up to investigate, wondering who could have left a baby there all alone.

As they opened the door, they were met with the chilling night breeze, and the sound of a baby's cries becoming louder. They couldn't believe what they saw - a tiny newborn wrapped in a shabby blanket left alone on their doorstep.

Without hesitation, the couple decided to bring the baby inside, turning on the lights to get a better look at the infant. The baby was so small, fragile, and helpless. They wondered how anyone could have left her alone.

As they contemplated what to do, the wind outside began to pick up, and the temperature began to drop. The couples knew that they couldn't leave the baby outside in such harsh weather. So, they decided to take her in for a few days, until her parents or someone who knew her could come and collect her.

The couples spent the next few sleepless nights tending to the baby, feeding her, and making sure she was comfortable. They couldn't help but fall in love with the little one, and they hoped she would be reunited with her family soon.

Isabelle spent her childhood and teenage years on the farm, where she was raised by four adults who became her family over time. As she grew older, Isabelle learned to appreciate the farm life and the people who shared it with her. She enjoyed the simple pleasures of living in the countryside, such as tending to the animals and crops, and spending time outdoors. Despite not having any biological relatives nearby, Isabelle never felt alone or isolated thanks to the love and support of her farm family. They provided her with a stable and nurturing environment, which allowed her to thrive and pursue her dreams. Over the years, Isabelle came to realize that family is not necessarily defined by blood ties, but rather by the bonds of love and mutual respect.

" Mimi, Papa, Mama, Pops. I starting school today and I won't be able to help out as much."

The four adults who looked after Isabelle on the farm knew that their time with her was limited. They understood that she would eventually outgrow her childlike innocence and become curious about the world beyond their homestead. And so, they made a concerted effort to prepare her for the inevitable transition.

To that end, they spent hours poring over old books with her, teaching her about different cultures, languages, and customs. They also knitted her a wardrobe of warm, comfortable clothing that would help her blend in seamlessly with her peers, once she was ready to leave the farm.

Despite their best efforts, the adults knew that the day would come when they would have to say goodbye to Isabelle. But they took solace in the fact that they had done everything in their power to equip her with the knowledge and skills she would need to navigate the outside world with confidence and grace.

" I love you Mimi, Papa, Mama, Pops!"

Isabelle had an enchanting smile that could light up even the gloomiest of days, and her face was adorned with delicate freckles that added to her charm. Her reddish-brown hair was thick and curly, making it difficult to manage, and as a result, it had become frizzy like an afro. She was wearing a stunning dress that was knitted by her family with love and care, and it felt incredibly comfortable against her skin.

As she walked away from the farm, she held her hand tightly, feeling the warmth and comfort of the person beside her. The journey towards the school was long, and it would take a few miles to get there. Nevertheless, she was determined to make the most of the trip, taking in the beautiful scenery that surrounded her as she walked.

" John, are you seriously crying right now? You're almost fifty."

Izzy is a young girl with a heart full of kindness and empathy towards others. She has a gentle and loving nature, always looking out for those around her. However, in today's world, where cruelty and injustice seem to be prevalent, it is worrisome to imagine how this may affect her. Her innocent heart may not be equipped to handle the harsh realities of life.

"It is crucial to provide her with a nurturing environment and help her develop the strength and resilience she needs to face the challenges that may come her way.

" I still think thirteen is too young."

" Jeez, Izzy is starting school. She's not getting married!"

" She will be fine."

As they stood at the farm, the four adults - looked at their sweet daughter with a mix of pride and sadness. She was leaving for school, and even though they knew it was time for her to go, it was hard to say goodbye. The parents managed to put on a brave face and waved at her with a smile, but Pops, couldn't hold back his emotions. Tears streamed down his face, and his sobs echoed through the terminal. The other family members tried to comfort him, but they too felt a lump in their throats.

" Pops stop crying and smile or you will make Isabelle worry."

" I LOVE YOU ISABELLE! WORK HARD AND I WILL MISS YOU THE MOST."

Mimi's eyes rolled in mild exasperation as she listened to Pops, who had raised Isabelle since she was a child. She couldn't believe how she was outshone everyone around her. It was a moment of pride for her, but it also made her feel a little out of place among her peers. She wondered if her success would create a rift between her and the people who had supported her throughout Isabelle's journey. Despite her doubts, Mimi couldn't help feeling grateful for Pops' unwavering support and guidance that had helped her reach where she is today.

The tension was palpable, and everyone's palms were sweaty, as they watched their loved one walk away, disappearing into the crowd.

As Isabelle prepared for her first day of school, she couldn't help but feel nervous and anxious. She had always lived her life on the farm, isolated from the outside world, and had very little experience with the city. Her father sensed her anxiety and tried to cheer her up by cracking a joke, but it only made matters worse. "Jeez, Pops. You are so embarrassing!" Isabelle thought to herself, her face turning red with embarrassment.

However, as she made her way to school, she found that her father's words had helped calm her down. She knew that she was going to face a lot of challenges as she adjusted to the new environment, but those words reminded her of the loving and supportive family waiting for her at home.

As she walked into the school, she realized that she was completely out of her element. She had no idea what to expect from the other students, or how they would react to her. But, she was determined to make the most of this opportunity and learn as much as she could about the world outside the farm.
