Lucas stood outside the bedchamber door, trying hear what was happening on the other side, but everything was quiet. He gently pushed open the door, the first thing he saw was her clothes on the floor near the trunks and Michael's on the floor by the bed.
'They were busy,' Lucas thought to himself, with a smirk, as he glanced around to make sure no one saw him slip into the bedchamber. He closed the door quietly, and turned to face the rest of the room. The two of them were curled up together, fast asleep. Lucas walked to the foot of the bed, and picked up Michael's clothes. He folded them neatly and placed them on a table out of the way. He then did the same with Eleanor's.
