She chose the name Thea, Artemis wondered if Arianna somehow knew.
Thea is our goddess. Goddess of creation.
Thea has a special connection with Arianna. A connection that can alter the history of this kingdom.
Arianna was a double-edged sword, a power that could either bring doom to the kingdom or become the greatest blessing it had ever known.
She is one of the few people in this world who can change the fate itself.
Arianna was unaware of the enormity of her fate, of the weight that rested on her shoulders. She was just a young princess, trying to survive in a world that was far beyond her control. But Artemis knew that Arianna was special, that she had been chosen for a reason. She wondered if the princess would embrace her destiny, or if she would succumb to the darkness that she knows will follow her.
Artemis silently prayed to the Goddess, asking for her protection over Arianna. But she already knew that Thea is always watching over Arianna.
Artemis knew that the road ahead would be treacherous, but she also knew that if Arianna could harness her power, she could change the fate of the kingdom forever.
"Why did you choose that name?" Artemis asked. Arianna turned to her there was a smile on her face as she watched the grand palace rose towards the sky.
There was a look of confusion as her brows scrunched not understanding what she asked. Then as if she suddenly understood "oh! You mean Thea?"
It cannot be a coincidence that she simply choose that name.
Arianna's eyes lit up as she walked towards Artemis, "There is this book, in that book the main character is named Thea she is the most awesome person I know. She is brave and adventurous. I always wanted to be her."
It would be an understatement to say that Artemis's mouth isn't hanging open from the shock of Arianna's answer.
A deep sigh escaped Artemis, she shook her head as she turned away from Arianna.
She is a lost cause.
--------------------
Thea is my favorite book character. I have always admired her, wanted to be her. She is a brave warrior who finds love in her journey to adventure. I always dreamed about doing the things she does.
Now I can do it. I can be whoever I want so I will be the person whom I admire the most.
"Can I go outside?" I asked Artemis. There is so much I want to do. The first thing will be to explore this kingdom.
Valoria is the most beautiful city. I can't believe I am here. I thought I would never be able to see this beautiful city. Because of the rivalry between our two kingdoms.
I have always wanted to explore the whole world. Now I have the moment.
I am free.
I can do what I want.
I want to jump I want to squeal.
But I refrained.
"You are now my apprentice. You will have to act like it. Or the king will become suspicious of you." Artemis said shaking her head as if she is disappointed about something.
"Why are you helping me?" I asked. She is the one who helped me. I don't know how I would have gotten out of this situation if not for her.
Even though I can't trust her yet, I can't deny that she helped me.
"You will know when the time is right." she said, making me sigh. I knew it will not be so easy to get the truth out of her but I am really curious.
"What did the king say to you?" I asked, she stopped in her tracks for a moment.
"Nothing you need to know." she said as she stared at me. "let's go."
"Where are we going?" I asked curiously.
"Do you think we will stay in this old thing? I am a witch I will have my own quarters. And so will you."
A soldier appeared and asked us to follow him, we were led to the tower on the west side of the palace. There were led through a series of stairs and corridors and we only stopped when we were on the topmost floor of the tower.
"This will be your room."
It was not as grand as my room as a princess, but I love it.
