"Let them then you seem so enthused about it. I wouldn't care, your choice." Alaric shot back.
"I said no. That was my choice. Which is why I don't understand why you're pouting like this." She rolled her eyes, finally looking away.
"No to what?" Alaric turned to glare at her.
She glared back at him. "If you're going to be a shit head at least pay attention. I told her no. Even if you can't bring yourself to love me it would be outright wrong of me to go bringing other men into my company. Not that I want anyone else anyway." Ari turned away from him then, scooting further away to lean her head against the window.
Alaric sighed and stared back out the window when she scooted further away from him. Nevertheless, his hand grabbed her by the shirt so she could lean her head against his shoulder. "The window is bad luck, idiot."
