Keir was a little distracted and his mind only captured her previous words.
I need it. I can't sleep. Give me something else?! Was this woman trying to tease him. His mouth twitched when he saw her serious expression and he felt like she didn't even know the effect of her words.
"Tch, I don't think this is the first time you've heard my name." his voice was laced with annoyance but Delaney didn't get it.
"But... What were you doing in the dragons book?" She asked curiously but Keir only gave her a glance, his annoyance still evident, then he dissapeared from her sight leaving Delaney bewildered.
She opened the kitchen door and looked around, but there was no sign of Keir. She had felt something familiar when she learnt that his name was Keir, but it was only until now that she saw his eyes up close and she remembered the drawing of his dark eyes.
