Emily struggled to breathe as Keir's grip on her neck got tighter and tighter. Blood started to trickle down her neck as his claws continued to rip her skin. Her nails dug into his forearms as tears pulled at the corner of her eyes and for a moment, Delaney thought she was actually going to die.
Delaney tried tapping Keir on the shoulder to remind him to control his anger, but his eyes were greatly focused on Emily. She hadn't even recovered from the discovery that a demon King's woman had taken up another form to suck her blood, but here she was trying to pacify a demon's anger.
Emily's face started turning pale, and she stopped struggling against Keir. "Don't you think she's going to die?" Delaney asked cautiously.
