Worry etched Xander's face as he stared at Keir. "Forgetting isn't even an option," he mumbled. Keir sighed again, raking his fingers through his hair. His face looked haggard and his eyes had an empty look.
"You already know what I'm going to say, but I'm going to repeat it again if I have to. Kaitlyn's death had nothing to do with you. You only blame yourself because she told you everything but you and I know that even if you tried to stop her, she would still have followed her decision and found her way to go to the dragons."
Keir didn't respond but he silently agreed with Xander. Even if he had stopped his sister, she would still have gone ahead with her plan. "How do you do it?" He suddenly asked, closing his eyes that started to feel heavy.
