At Keir's command, the room fell dead silent and no one moved a muscle. Delaney stood frozen with shock, Keir's words echoing loudly in her ears. Dungeon? He said to lock her up in the dungeon!? While she mulled on the words, Xander and Alex looked at Keir hesitantly. They both had the same question in mind. Was he being serious?
When Keir saw no one was moving, his angry glare moved from Delaney to Alex and the man got his answer from Keir's eyes. He was dead serious!
As the butler neared where Delaney stood, her pulse quickened and she took a step back. "W–Wait... What are you doing?" She asked in panic. Alex slightly bent forward and hoisted her up, throwing her over his shoulder with ease. Delaney shrieked in surprise and her eyes searched around the room.
"You can't do this to me! Hey! Let me down! You!" She yelled frantically, thrashing her feet and throwing punches as her loud voice faded in the distance.
