"Let's go then," Carissa said, standing up.
"Wait, I have to bid goodbye to Harriet first," Lilith said, swaying her hips to Harriet's room.
Harriet and her family jumped up in shock when they saw her enter, for they were eavesdropping on their conservation. Harriet scratched her head and smile sheepishly as they were caught red-handed.
"Harriet, I am sorry about my siblings again," Lilith said apologetically.
"No...no, it's alright." Harriet shook her head.
"How is that alright? They ate almost all of our food and all the savings you are keeping to buy us some new clothes for the new year were spent on their lunch, and those wench didn't even appreciate it." Emma said with resentment.
"Shut it, Emma..." Harriet chastises her daughter.
The young girl humphed and turned her head to the side.
"Tell me what happened, Emma," Lilith demanded.
"No Lilith, don't listen to her, it's alright."
Lilith didn't bother to reply but instead waited for Emma to explain to her.
Sara sighed and narrated instead.

Two hours ago.
There was only Jane at home and she was doing the chores when a knock sounded.
Frowning, she threw away the towel in her hand and peeked through the gap of their old door to look at the visitors, and to her shock and surprise, she saw two beautiful lovely girls of her age standing outside, dressed in the finest silk she'd ever seen.
She hurriedly opened the door for them and was in awe of the guards surrounding them.
"Hello, What can I do for you?" Jane politely asked. Even though the purple of their irises gave her a faint guess.
The shorter girl with chestnut brown hair look around in disgust while the taller one smiled a bit politely.
"Hello, I am Carissa Millward and this is my sister, Averil Millward, and we are looking for Lilith."
"Sure enough, they are the Ladies of Duke of Carrison." Jane thought and even though she was a little offended by the smile that screamed of disgust on Averil's face, she didn't show her emotion.
But what she didn't know was that one of her mother's customers that passed by saw their luxurious carriage, so the woman went to her mother for gossip.
Her mother was shocked and she hurried home, thinking that something bad had happened.
Someone caught sight of her mother running home so her father caught the gist of the situation, and naturally, he too also ran home.
Jane on the other hand didn't know what was happening, she politely asked the twins to enter and even offered them water and fresh fruits but who would have thought that Averil would pour the water on her, drenching her, and claiming that she wanted to poison her with the dirty water.
Carissa sat at the side, looking at the layout of the room, and said with a smile.
"Since how long have you guys been living here? Are all poor peoples this dirty?"
Jane's face blushed in embarrassment and humiliation and it was the scene that her parents saw when they entered.
Fearing to offend the twins, they ask the twins whether they were hungry and even ask what kind of meal they want.
Carissa wanted to reject but her mischievous sister decided to tease the lowly commoners so she named all sorts of expensive meals, the kinds that the Beasant family only ate on special days.
Still, they squeezed out the money they had and prepared a delicious and appetizing meal for the twins.
Averil's first intention was to waste the food but when she saw how appetizing it look, she decided to have some, however, the more she ate, the more insults she made so as to cover her satisfaction.
And after eating, they begin to ask various questions.
"How can you guys live here? This place stinks so much."
The couples could only stare at their toes and that was until Lilith entered.

Back To The Present
Lilith sighed and without saying anything, she went back to the living room.
"Aren't you ready yet? What the hell are you doing that is wasting our time so much?!" Averil snapped.
"Carissa, Averil, what do you think will happen if words were to get out that you guys bullied the commoners?" Lilith's eyes were cold as she eyed the two of them.
Averill blinked. "W-What? What are you saying?"
"Not only that, you asked them for food, like beggars but you're even more arrogant than a beggar, ordering them to buy you expensive ones when you clearly know their financial situations. And you, Carissa" She turned to Carissa and sneered. "If you really want to paste yourself as a kind lady, how about you at least behave well to people, then you can keep the fake mask but doing nonsense like this, your acting sucks."
"What do you want?"
