We finished our meal and decided to train my telepathy some more before going back into the asteroid belt to clean up more pirates.
The training went well, I was able to hold the connection with Selene for five seconds longer when she was across the room compared to before. While it doesn't seem like a lot, I didn't train it yesterday so it was only after my first training session that it increased by this much, and hopefully it will continue to increase.
"While you fly us to the asteroid belt, I'm gonna update my status to see how my Psionic skill is coming along." I said to Selene, who was undocking and routing us to our destination.
"Sure thing dear." She replied without looking away from her terminal.
I walked into the med bay before laying into the bio scanner and closing it over me once again. A terminal appeared on the bottom of the lid as I started the scan and a few seconds later it was done. I opened the lid and saw my new status.

Looking at the new skill I got, and how it was already level 5, i deadpanned, mostly at myself. I hesitantly opened the skill description, which in my shock I forgot to do last time for the Psionic skill.

Moving on from my new skill, I looked at my Unique skill and was happy to see it increased by 2 levels. 'Definitely slower than my flirting skill is leveling but faster than I was expecting. Not bad.' I thought to myself. I decided now was a good time to double check all of my skills and see if they had changed from the game.

'Hah, well everything looks the same. Also I really should've checked the Psionic skill description before… that would've been nice to know. Though, I guess it wouldn't have told me what it was telepathy since as far as I recall, it was at level 0 until I actually mediated and unlocked it.' I mused to myself before sending my status to Selene and closing the terminal and walking back to the cockpit.
When I got into the cockpit, the ship was on autopilot and Selene was looking at me with an amused grin. "Flirting? Really?" She teased.
I rolled my eyes at her, "It's not like I chose the skill…" I grumbled. She laughed and walked over to me, wrapping her arms around my neck as my hands instinctively found her waist.
"Just don't go flirting around with too many girls, this ship can only hold so many of us." She said with a smile.
I looked into her eyes and raised an eyebrow, "You expect me to flirt with other girls."
I saw her eyes roll, "I don't expect you to, but at the same time I don't care. It's not like polygamy or harems is uncommon. Besides, I wouldn't mind a few sisters, I don't exactly have a family outside of you."
"… I don't know, I mean sure I would love a harem, what guy wouldn't. After this morning though, I was fully prepared to settle down with only you if you wanted. I guess I can see your point as well though, you're my only family too." I replied quietly.
"Look I'm not saying to go out and find someone else, I want you to myself for a while, but if someone comes along that fits in well I don't want you to reject her because of me, especially when I'm okay with it." She reiterated firmly.
"Well, we can leave that for later, I don't have any plans of starting another relationship soon when we just started ours." I said and leaned down, pulling her into a gentle kiss.
Our kiss was interrupted by the beeping of the ship, signaling our arrival at the asteroid belt. I pulled back and gave her ass a firm squeeze, causing a light moan to escape her mouth, "Let's go fuck up some pirates!" I said with a grin. Selene smirked in return as we took our respective seats.

I know that was a lot of info, I'll explain it a bit better in an auxiliary chapter when I have time, but in short:
If a number in the parentheses has +n% it means it adds that percentage to the base number, which is usually 100%. So things like weapon damage, the skill means 100% + 500% =600%. Or 6x damage.
As for the ones without the +, it's a multiplier. So for the hand to had efficiency, it says 1000%, this essentially means it will us 10x less energy. At 500% it would be 5x less etc.
As for Psionic, since he's only at 40% he uses .4x less energy. This actually means he is wasting energy, since he is untrained, anything less than 1x means there's wasted energy. I know it's complicated, but shits math.
