After that, they all arrived at the Forbidden Chamber. Atsushi saw the seal stickers scattered all over the door and wall, and he was moderately scared by it then. They then opened the door, and Yuichiro and Atsushi entered in and saw Yuuji holding a Cursed Weapon at the center of the occult symbol surrounded by swords.
"Man, I don't like this," Atsushi thought. "I should defect as soon as possible."
But, his thoughts changed to, "Or I should stay here a bit longer until the right time."
Then, he eventually agreed to that second thought and decided to keep his word as well.
After that, Yuichiro decided to do something reckless and stupid by trying to snatch the Cursed Weapon from Yuuji, going downstairs, and jumping to the ground. Shinoa, who was annoyed by Yuichiro's recklessness, immediately told Yoichi to go and call for backup just in case things escalated. Yoichi did so, and Atsushi said to Shinoa that he'd stay and watch just in case. Shinoa then nodded in agreement, thinking, "He will not last long in this place." What she meant is that Atsushi will not last long in the Imperial Demon Army.
Then, Yuichiro fights off demon-possessed Yuuji and tries to snatch the Cursed Weapon from him, but after a few moments, Yuichiro manages to snatch it, only to start hallucinating about his past being with Mikaela and the other children. Atsushi watches this while being stunned until the end, in which Yuichiro managed to snap out of it. To that, Atsushi ran towards him while asking, "Are you okay?"
"I think so," Yuichiro replied back.
"Wow, that was so dangerous," Atsushi responded back.
"I know."
Then, Shinoa said to Atsushi, "Wow, you're so caring towards Yuichiro-kun, aren't you, Atsushi-kun?"
Looking at her, Atsushi responded back with positivity, "Yes, we are friends still."
He then thought, "I'll wait instead."
But, how long will he stay in the Imperial Demon Army?
