Chapter 33 - Davids land

Adam and his brother David spent the next few weeks visiting each of the potential sites they had identified on the map. They had a list of requirements they were looking for in the new property, including soil quality, access to water sources, and proximity to main roads for transportation.

The first site they visited was a large plot of land on the outskirts of the county. It was situated near a river and had good soil quality, but it was a bit far from main roads and would require some investment to build proper infrastructure.

The second site was a smaller piece of land closer to the city center. While it had easy access to main roads and infrastructure, the soil quality wasn't as good and there was no nearby water source.

The third site was located in the hills and had a mix of good and poor soil. It was closer to the main roads than the first site, but still required some investment in infrastructure.

After carefully considering each site's pros and cons, Adam and David narrowed it down to two choices. They spent a few more days visiting those two sites, carefully inspecting every detail and taking measurements.

Finally, they made their decision. They chose the larger plot of land on the outskirts of the county. Despite the distance from main roads, they believed that the good soil quality and access to a water source would make up for the additional investment in infrastructure.

Adam and David were excited about the new venture and began to plan out the next steps. They would need to purchase the land, secure funding for infrastructure, and start the process of building a new farm from scratch.

As they drove back to the original farm, Adam and David talked about how they would manage both properties. They decided to split their time between the two locations, with David overseeing the new property while Adam continued to manage the original farm.

Adam was pleased with the decision and felt excited about the future. He knew that managing two farms would be a challenge, but he was ready for it. He and David shared a deep love for farming and were both determined to make their new venture a success.

As they approached the original farm, Adam saw his wife Lily and son Jack waiting for them. They had brought a picnic lunch and were eager to hear about the day's adventures.

Adam smiled at the sight of his family and felt grateful for their support. He knew that building a new farm would take a lot of hard work, but with his brother by his side and his family's love and support, he was ready for the challenge.
