Chapter 21 - Chapter 21

Michael sat across from the Irish officials in a dimly lit room, the air thick with tension. The officials were cautious, knowing that any association with the rebels could lead to consequences from the German government.

"I understand your situation, Mr. O'Connor," the lead official said, adjusting his tie. "We want to help in any way we can, but we must be discreet."

Michael nodded in agreement. "I appreciate your concern, but our situation is dire. The German government is hunting us down like animals. We need all the help we can get."

The official leaned forward. "We have arranged for a shipment of supplies to be sent to you. They will arrive at the designated location in three days' time."

Michael breathed a sigh of relief. "Thank you. We need those supplies desperately."

The officials handed Michael a small package. "This contains the details of the shipment. Destroy it once you have memorized the information. We cannot risk it falling into the wrong hands."

Michael nodded and slipped the package into his pocket. "I understand. Thank you again."

As he made his way out of the building, Michael couldn't help but feel a glimmer of hope. With the support of the Irish government, they might just have a chance at overthrowing the German government.

But as he walked through the streets, he couldn't shake the feeling of being watched. He quickened his pace, scanning the area for any suspicious figures.

Suddenly, he felt a sharp pain in his side and stumbled to the ground. He looked up to see a group of German officials surrounding him, their weapons pointed at him.

"You're under arrest for treason," one of them snarled.

Michael knew he had been set up. His heart pounded as he tried to come up with a plan. He couldn't let them capture him – he had too much information on the rebellion.

He lunged forward, knocking the officials off-balance. He sprinted down the street, dodging gunfire as he went. He didn't know where he was going, only that he had to get away.

He found himself at the edge of a forest, the trees providing cover from the German officials. He slowed his pace, panting heavily as he tried to catch his breath.

As he caught his breath, Michael realized he had to warn the rebels of the German government's plan to eradicate any village they found rebels in. He had to act fast.

He made his way back to the rebel's hideout, his heart racing as he tried to come up with a plan. As he arrived, he called for an emergency meeting.

"We've been set up," he told the group. "The Germans are planning to eradicate any village they find us in. We have to act now before it's too late."

The group nodded in agreement, and Michael led them in a plan of attack. They would hit the German government's base, taking out their weapons supply and rendering them powerless.

The attack was brutal, but the rebels emerged victorious. Michael breathed a sigh of relief as he surveyed the damage, knowing that they had just taken a significant blow to the German government's hold on the area.

But as he made his way back to his hiding spot, he couldn't shake the feeling that this was just the beginning. The German government would not give up easily, and he knew that they would have to continue to fight if they wanted to achieve their goal of overthrowing the oppressive regime.
