A document was thrown on Jeff's desk. The document moved until it was right in front of Liora who had been looking at Jeff.
The man looks so arrogant. Sitting slightly away from the desk with one leg placed on the other leg, while both hands seem relaxed on the available armrests on the right and left of the work chair he is sitting on.
The light brown eyeball looked at the document that was not too thick, then looked at the person who had thrown the document.
"Quickly sign it." Jeff said casually, his chin moving toward the document he had just tossed on his desk.
Of course Liora is not a stupid woman who wants to sign the agreement right away. With her right hand, the woman began to open the thin document.
From the first word she read, Liora already understood what the document contained. The more she read, Liora's forehead creased even more.
"I don't agree!" Liora said firmly.
The woman closed the document again and pushed it closer to where Jeff was sitting.
Seeing this, Jeff got up for a moment. He adjusted the position of the chair so that it was closer to the desk.
"This is too partial to you, I will remake this agreement." Liora said still in a firm tone.
Instantly, Jeff's laughter echoed in the room, while Liora only watched Jeff with a sour expression on her face.
"No no, you have to sign it now if you want me to marry you." Jeff said, threatening Liora.
For a moment Liora was silent, if it weren't for the fact that she was pregnant, Liora would not have wanted to marry this man.
Now it's too late, Liora is already pregnant, Harry and Myla already know about Jeff and it's impossible for Liora to allow herself to get pregnant without marrying anyone.
"I mind." Liora said, the woman's voice sounded quieter now.
"Which part?" Jeff then asked.
"Points three and four. What if I fail to take over the Delifood Company?" Liora felt doubtful and pessimistic.
"The baby will come and be taken care of by me, it's very simple." Jeff said casually.
"How can you say that easily, Jeff?! You want to separate a mother from her child, huh?!" Liora began to get carried away with emotion.
"There is no point there that says if I forbid you to meet your child," said Jeff, still in a relaxed tone of voice.
Liora was silent for a moment, the woman slightly lowered her head. In a low voice, Liora said, "But I also want to live with my baby forever."
Instantly tears began to flow from both ends of the eyes of a woman who was in the process of becoming a mother. Her hands rubbed her still flat stomach very gently, hoping that the unborn baby in her womb could feel the sadness her mother had experienced and the love her mother had given.
"So you have to be able to help me," said Jeff, still so relaxed.
Liora was no longer able to speak, the woman fell into tears of sadness. Even though in her heart there were so many sentences she wanted to say to Jeff.
But Liora's lips felt numb, the woman couldn't move them even if only to say one word.
She chose to let tears as a sign of overflowing emotions. In her heart, Liora hopes that Jeff can understand the sadness of a mother who must be separated from her child moreover the baby is the first child.
For several minutes, Liora still couldn't stop her tears. Her beautiful face was already wet from the tears that were falling, her eyes were now puffy and red.
"Sign it." Jeff said, still effortlessly.
Those puffy eyes with tears looked up at Jeff, glaring at the man in front of her.
"I don't agree, Jeff! I DO NOT AGREE!!!"
Liora's voice was so loud, it even echoed throughout the room. Jeff had to cover his ears because of the woman's voice.
"Liora, listen! You just need to help me to do that. If you succeed you can take your baby away with me as far as you can go."
"THEN WHAT IF I WAS NOT SUCCESSFUL, JEFF?!" Liora was getting more and more irritated, as seen from the tone of her voice that was getting higher.
"You should be able to do that." Jeff said easily.
"Jeff, Jeff, please. No, I don't want to be separated from my baby, Jeff." Liora said while sobbing.
"Okay, so what?! Which point do you disagree with?!" This time Jeff was also annoyed, the man asked in a snapped tone.
"Points three and four," said Liora, repeating her original answer.
"No, I can't reimburse it for that." Jeff said, shaking his head.
The man firmly refused Liora's wish. This is because of the ego of the man.
While Liora nodded her head several times, the woman's hands were now on Jeff's desk and her body rose from the chair.
"Okay, I'll ask something else then." Liora this time became calmer.
"What?" Jeff asked lazily.
"You must be willing to pay for my study and all the needs during the study process if I manage to help you get back your position at the Delifood Company, how about that?" asked Liora, looking into Jeff's beady eyes.
For a few seconds Jeff was silent, the man seemed to be contemplating whether to grant Liora's wish or not.
