Chereads / My Superior Husband / Chapter 10 - The Wedding Day

Chapter 10 - The Wedding Day

Some of the family members had returned to their homes when the sun started to turn orange. It feels so tiring after a day of constantly smiling to pretend to look happy.

"Sean." Liora called, who had not yet changed her clothes.

The woman still looks beautiful with a beautiful clean white wedding dress. A small crown appears above her head, making Liora look even more perfect like a princess from a kingdom.

Sean turned his head, at the same time Liora also walked closer to the direction the man was. Liora's hands seemed to lift the dress which was quite heavy to ease her footsteps a little.

"Sean, what did you mean by that?" asked Liora feeling curious.

It was seen that Sean immediately lowered his head, the man didn't dare to look at Liora with glazed eyes and a beautiful face with perfect makeup.

"Sean." Liora called back after a while Sean didn't answer her question.

"I like you, Liora." Sean said, still with his head down.

Sean's voice sounded soft and the man still kept his head down. It seemed that he didn't have the slightest bit of courage yet to raise his eyes and look at the woman in front of him.

Hearing the answer from Sean, Liora was silent for a moment. The woman was no longer speechless. She never thought that Sean, who was strict and occasionally scolded her at work, actually liked her.

"Sorry, Sean." Liora said, looking at the man who still kept his head down.

Not a word was said by Sean, the man just nodded his head.

"Liora, let's get changed," said Jeff who suddenly took Liora's hand.

Of course the woman was surprised, not only Liora, but it turned out that Sean also felt the same way.

Sean no longer lowered his head, but his eyes were fixed on Jeff, as if avoiding meeting Liora's eyes.

"Don't tell anyone about this wedding, you've been sworn in!" Jeff insisted.

Sean meanwhile just nodded his head. He didn't say anything more.

"Come on, Baby." Jeff said softly while holding Liora's hand.

Jeff and Liora's two feet turned their backs on Sean. As she walked away, Liora turned several times and found Sean still standing in the same place.

It can be seen that after Liora and Jeff left, the man no longer lowered his head, even his eyes were looking at Liora. A smile appeared on that sad face.

"Finally you're married, Liora. Thank you very much for agreeing to our wishes. Even though you didn't marry the man of our choice, it doesn't matter. Right, Hary?" Myla looked happy that afternoon.

"It's true what your Mom said, Liora. Moreover, this man of your choice is already perfect," said Harry with a chuckle for a moment.

Hearing this, Liora could only remain silent. She returned a fake smile to her parents.

If only it weren't for her pregnancy, Liora also doesn't want to marry a very annoying selfish man like Jeff.

The pair of eyes glanced at a man standing next to her. He also seems to give a fake smile.

With smiles full of happiness, Hary and Myla kissed their daughter's cheek and Jeff, who is now they son-in-law.

"Liora, take care of your husband as best you can, serve him well and obey all his wishes," explained Myla while smiling and glancing slightly at Jeff.

"That's right, you are very lucky to be married to Jeff. A handsome and wealthy man," said Hary, the man only continued to add to what his wife had said.

"Okay, Dad and Mom," said Liora, nodding her head and fake smiling. But not long after, Liora said again, "I have something I want to talk to you about, Dad and Mom."

"What's that? Come on in, have a seat." Myla said, immediately bringing Liora into a room.

"I am willing to lead the company." Liora said.

Both Hary and Myla's eyes widened, Myla's hands immediately covered her wide open mouth.

"Is that true?!" asked Myla in disbelief.

Liora nodded her head, "Why?"

"Okay, tomorrow I will prepare everything. When will you start work?" Hary asked.

"Tomorrow." Liora answered immediately.

"That fast? Don't you want to rest first? At least one week for the honeymoon, Liora." Myla said.

Liora's eyes glanced at Jeff who was next to her. The man was seen nodding his head.

"It's true what Mom said, we should rest for one week for our honeymoon," explained Jeff.

"Listen, don't you want to have a honeymoon, Liora?" Myla asked then.

"Okay, I will leave for one week for the honeymoon," said Liora, according to.

"By the way ... where are you two going on your honeymoon?" asked Myla while moving her eyebrows intending to tease.

"We haven't thought about it, Mom. Maybe tonight we'll make plans." Jeff replied, blushing slightly.

"Oh, I will also bring Liora to my house. Meanwhile, Liora and I have decided to stay at my parents' house." Jeff continued.

"It doesn't matter, Jeff. Myla and I can only wish the best for both of you. Me too, when Liora was two years old, we moved to a new house and lived independently." Harry said with a smile.

"Thank you, Dad, Mom. So, we will both change clothes first, after that we will go back to my parents' house," explained Jeff.

After changing into more casual clothes, the two of them immediately made their way to Jeff's family's house.

This was the first time for Liora to come to that house. She had absolutely no idea how the house was, where it was located and who lived there.

After traveling by car for twenty minutes, the car finally entered an elite housing complex and stopped in front of a house fifth from the entrance of the housing complex.

The massive gate opened after Jeff swallowed the horn twice. The car, which was still decorated with a red ribbon indicating that it had been used for the wedding, entered the front yard of the house and stopped again when it was already in the carport.

"Don't forget the agreement." Jeff said while getting out of his car.

Liora got out of the car without being opened by Jeff. The woman's eyes looked towards the house she would live in for the next nine months.

"Hello, have you arrived yet?" asked a woman who was very familiar in Liora's eyes.

"Yes, Mom. She's Liora," said Jeff, introducing his wife.

"Hello, Mom." Liora said, while slightly raising her waving right hand.

"Aaa, you? Well, let me explain what are the rules in this house." The woman took Liora's hand.

Liora frowned, this was the first time she had come to Jeff's house. Instead of being greeted like her parents did to Jeff, Liora was immediately explained about all the rules that she had to obey in the Jeff family's house.
