As soon as Egon walked out of the principal's office, his anger was visible. He never anticipated that this would be the worst day of his life. Egon had no intention of instigating all of this. He just wanted to teach Leo a lesson for the misery he had caused during his childhood.
Freya and Miriam witnessed the altercation between Leo and Egon as they both emerged from the principal's office.
Leo, too timid to face the crowd, quickly bolted. "Egon, do you think I would let you off the hook that easily? You haven't seen the last of me. I'll make you pay," Leo threatened before running off.
All the discussion they just had ended up being useless.
How would they be able to set aside their differences.
Freya and Miriam were passing by and they took glance at Egon. Egon thought that they were gossipping about him and angrily said,
"What are you staring at?" Egon spoke out his mind. "I guess you're satisfied with the outcome. Next time tell your boyfriend to back off, or I'll make him pay," Egon threatened.
"I..." Freya began to rebuke him, but Miriam held her back and advised, "Leave it. He's not worth it. He's going through a lot." Freya and Miriam witnessed the altercation between Leo and Egon.
The classes were over, and Leo and Egon spent half of the day in detention.
"Wow, isn't he the new student who defeated Leo? I admire his courage, but how come I heard he is languid?" said a girl in an intrigued tone.
"I would have never guessed he had a high proficiency in martial arts. He's one in a million, but too bad he would be hopeless when it comes to fighting beyond this dimension," she continued.
"I overheard Mr. Harrison talking to the principal about sending them on a survival mission, mentioning that their abilities would be controlled. I guess it would be of no use to a useless guy. I wonder what kind of monsters they will face. Would they be able to face them with their bare hands?" added another girl in a mocking tone.
Egon overheard them gossiping about him. He felt nothing since this wasn't his first experience with people gossiping about him. All he could think of presently was the mission ahead of them. Nonetheless, something was bothering him, Leo will never cooperate.
"It can never be ruled out, of course he is that kind of person. I don't need to ponder much on it". Egon anticipated with sadness.
"Grrrrrh" the bells sounded.
"Classes are over. Mega you can come out." He let out.
Egon went out of the school environment and released his AI.
"I was suffocating in there. It was a bit stuffy there. Finally "Mega complained.
"Mega, you're a robot. What do you need air for? You're silly, you don't breathe in air." Egon laughed.
"Egon you forgot about the glasses. You were supposed to reply to the AI." Mega reminded him.
"Oh, you're right. My bad, I'm thinking about this journey of a thing, and yet, I forgot I have a cheat code, right with me. This is fantastic! Maybe I might unlock my abilities. I can't wait." He was full of anticipation.
"I have told you, I'm not 100% sure you might unlock your abilities, So do not anticipate much about it." Mega emphasised,
"Blah ….blah …I'm not going to listen to your disbelief, Mega I am 500% sure it would work." He rebuked Mega
Ok, I guess you have much fate. No need for us to talk much, let's check it out, instead of making assumptions.
Immediately, Egon got his hands into his bag and reached for the glasses. He put on the glasses and saw information displayed on the lens.

"YES" Egon replied instantly, anticipating the thrilling event that would follow up.

[Will you like to synchronize the system with an AI, YES or NO?]
"Wow, I never expected this to have this magnificent feature. This is really wonderful. I wouldn't have to submit my AI to the authorities."

There wasn't any response from the system.
"What's going on? I just accepted, or am I missing the command?" Egon wondered.
"Dumb brain! Follow up the specific instructions of the system…. YES or NO" Mega rebuked Egon, hitting him on his head.
"Hey, I get it. You don't have to hit me on the head" Egon frowned at Mega.
Egon made the alteration,
"YES.... Dumbass," he laughed as he pointed his middle finger at Mega.

Looking at Mega's LED matrix, the codes were reading...

Egon smiled with excitement
"Alright, well, let's try the shape-shifting feature first! What will happen when I activate it?"
" Why don't you listen? it just gave you a detailed explanation of everything yet your stupid brain can't digest simple information." Mega talked.
"I wasn't asking you, so keep your mouth shut" Egon responded irritably to Mega's comment.
"Excellent choice, Egon! I'd explain again, The shape-shifting feature allows you to turn these glasses into any object that you think of. You just have to say the object you want it to transform into after which the device will morph accordingly" it explained in an enthusiastic tone.
Egon talked slowly, "Okay, let me think. I want the glasses to shape-shift into... a baseball cap!
(Egon concentrates and the augmented reality glasses began to morph, and within seconds, it turned into a baseball cap on his head).
Mega was furious at Egon,
"Out of all the numerous things in this world, you chose a BASEBALL CAP. You're a disgrace"
"Seriously, I couldn't think of anything else." He replied.
Egon was excited to try out the different features of the device, his curiosity piqued, "Alright then. Let's try the emotion tracing feature.
The voice spoke in a low, focused tone,
"This feature requires calibrating the glasses to specifics. Look around through your glasses until it locks on to a face and a blue diamond appears around emphasis on the screen.
Egon glanced around at different people,
"Yeah, got it, I see the diamond. Now what?"
"Now, look directly at the person's face," it said in an informative tone.
(Egon looks around and stares at a random girl passing by)
Egon giggles, "Okay, let's try the emotion tracing feature on her"
(The display on the lens shows the girl's emotional state -

"Whoa! She likes me? I new my cute charm always work on every person
Mega added "Looks like it, Egon!"
"This device just made my day!" Egon smiled.
"Would you like to try the feature on someone else?" The voice asked.
"Yes, please!" Egon nodded.
(Egon stares at a second person passing by)
"The person you're currently analysing has no notable emotional state. It appears moderately indifferent." replied the voice.
Egon shrugs "Ah well, can't win them all. Let's try someone else. Oh, how about that guy standing over there?" Egon looks at a man with a briefcase and sketchy outfit.
"Analyzing the person in question may lead to uncertain results as their emotional state isn't constant and could be subject to change depending on multiple internal and external factors, and the interpretations from the gadget would be less specific.'
"Oh, I see. This is a tough one. Nevermind, I wasn't expecting him to love. Errrrhh... I'm not a gay" he said in a disgusting tone.
Egon saw Freya passing by and all of a sudden his mind flashed back. "This is going to be my worst candidate I guess" Egon flashed back to his encounter with Freya , his irritation evident.
"The person has a sense of nervousness, anxiety, and a minimal sense of attraction towards someone.
Egon thought "Hmm, those emotions don't give me a clear idea of what she's thinking or feeling."
"It may seem that way, Egon. But the emotions detected indicate that the person may feel something towards you. The mix of nervousness and excitement might mean that she likes you, but the interpretation is not as vivid. You would need to investigate your assumption further." the voice explained reassuringly.
"Really? You think that she might like me?"
"That is one possible interpretation but as I said earlier, it's less clear and subject to interpretation. The emotions detected only provide a rough indication of what the person might be feeling."
