Chapter 11 - Empty

A week had passed since I killed Jason.

I had become attached to my bed and the little desire that I normally had to

socialize with my mates became a distant feeling.

My thought was that I would be happy that he's gone for good but seeing him had

reopened an old wound.

I heard a knock on my door, and I contemplated on whether I should let whoever in.

“Come in.” I sighed.

“Oh, it's you. I thought it was Leo again.” I say sitting up in my bed. “Did you bring

pizza?”

“Yes of course I did. I'm not gonna let you starve to death.” Quinton smiles, putting the

large double cheese pizza on the bed.

“Thanks Quincy.” I peck him on the cheek.

He gave a slight blush in return. “No problem, Ava.”

I open the pizza box and retrieve a slice, taking a bite of the cheesy goodness.

I felt Quinton's gaze on me, so I glanced at him curiously.

“What?” I ask him, shrugging my shoulders.

“You know what.” He replies, cocking his head to the side. A concerned look plastered
