The way Ava answered me had me wondering if something was up. She told me she
was having lunch with Ryan and that Zane guy, so it makes me wonder what
happened.
“You think she told them her real job description?” Jax surprises me by asking or
should I say, speaking. I've gotten so used to him not talking to the point where whenever
he does talk, I want to take advantage of it.
He overheard the short conversation between Ava and I which led him to ask that

“No that can't be it. She had no intention of doing that. Maybe I'm the one who had
