3rd person's POV
Minyoung just finished informing the students in the intercom that it's already the end of the classes and everyone should leave and needs to go home, have a nice nap or shower at home, or do their home work, which they are given in class by the teachers, and have a lovely dinner with their family like always.
She would've enjoyed the same routine that she was telling others to do, but not only if there was someone annoying her from the outside of the glass sitting beside her elder sister.
After the button 'On Air' was turned off by Byul, Kwan rushed inside the broadcast room and squealed like a maniac. He was definitely a maniac, though there was no doubt in that. That's what Minyoung thought when he suddenly grabbed Min's precious headphones she always used and pushed her aside to sit on her chair, tapping his pop filter, which he doesn't even touch unless he's cleaning it!
To say Minyoung was frustrated was an understatement; she felt rage all over her small and delicate body. No one dared touch her treasured equipment! No one! Not even their senior older club members, who used to be in the club before their graduation, know how much Minyoung felt about her prized possessions.
She glared at her older sister after she was not able to take the secret reveals in front of her, who in turn was laughing hysterically over the wide glass that was separating the two rooms, like if she didn't do anything about this, then she would definitely start to learn how to do murder. And her very first victim will be this new club member of theirs, Kwan.
Min was annoyed that Kwan kept asking questions since earlier. She doesn't want anybody to talk to her that much since she prefers the club room to be a less noisy place to be. Though Kwan isn't a place, he's basically the one who makes noises in their silent club room, so she hates him more!
Although Byul wanted to continue laughing her ass off, she decided to do something to help her younger sister.
"Does Kwan want to go with me to buy ice cream?" Kwan stood up excitedly when he heard the name of ice cream, not noticing that the headphones on his ears had already landed on the floor, and Min almost lost her cool seeing that.
Byul's eyes widened in shock as she saw how red Min's face had turned due to anger, which she was trying to suppress. It isn't good news. Because angry Min Young is very dangerous.
"Um, Kwan, you might want to hurry up." Byul practically dragged Kwan outside with her. And as soon as they left, Min managed to compose herself to stay calm. She brought her precious headphones back to their place and took a step outside, but today seems like a really bad day for her. Because after stepping out of her club room, she saw the person whom she despises the most and doesn't even want to see.
Daehyun was already sitting on the couch with his legs crossed, and he was looking at Min with a sly smirk. The younger of the two suddenly wants to get back inside the broadcast room, but she knows it is unnecessary since escaping a bad spirit is a very hard thing to do.
"For the nth time that I'll ask you, what do you want?" Min crossed her arms, leaning on the door. Daehyun shrugged for a moment before he chuckled.
"Nothing really, just checking if you even remembered that thing I asked you about." She rolled her eyes. How could she forget about that?
"And for the nth time, I'll answer you... No. fucking. hell." She spat angrily, but Daehyun seemed to be neither intimidated nor surprised.
"Look here, Park Minyoung, I'm just trying to help you out from getting a broken heart. Can't you see that.....huh?"Min gave him a sceptical look, like she wasn't getting his point. "I've told you already that Seojun-hyung doesn't have any interest in you, and confessing your feelings to him wouldn't do you any good. I'm basically doing a favour to you."
"And how is becoming your girlfriend the solution to this problem?" He chuckled for the second time.
"Who knows? Maybe that's a reward for helping you out?" Min thinks that all of what he is trying to say is so stupid that it deserves an award.
She already had the idea that he would only use her to shut down his fanboys and fangirls since the latter had told him before that he hates those people ogling over him. But on the other hand, she felt as if there was something more behind that request—a very deep meaning hidden behind that request.
Just what does he want from me exactly?
"And could I ask you why you want to, you know, help me?" Daehyun gave Min a serious look of pity as he stood up from the couch.
"I don't really know... but maybe for the very first time I saw someone who's worth my help." Minyoung stared at him for a good second, processing everything the latter told her like it sent something inside her. What message is that exactly?
Daehyun patted her head gently before he walked out.
What if he meant everything he said?
For the past few days, Daehyun has been talking to Min like nothing has happened. He's been acting normal—too normal to be real. She was curious about how he managed to hide his real self from the others when he was with them every day. He is still the baby, shy and sensitive Daehyun, whom everyone of them adores.
Min was passing the hallway as she saw some girls surrounding Daehyun like he was some rare flower out in the field that everyone wants to take or at least have a small look at or piece of for themselves. But the thing is, the girls didn't look like pretty butterflies at all but hungry wolves who are surrounding their prey to devour and enjoy.
"Here, Daehyun, eat this. You want this, right?"
"No, have this instead; it's not too sweet, and I made it."
"But I got here first!"
And the girls somehow ended up fighting with each other. Min just sighed as she passed by, pitying the naive girls who don't even know that they are dealing with an ultimate beast who can't even be compared to them. He's the worst of all. Who pretends to be a baby, any sensitive guy, but is actually a manipulative maniac who behaves like a psyco sometimes.
Daehyun sighed when he saw the girls fighting over a small matter, but when he saw his mochi pass by him, he excused himself, making the girls whine, so he apologised.
Daehyun swiftly matched his pace with Min's pace, and although the latter wasn't looking his way, he knew that his mochi noticed his presence. The girls saw this, and they weren't pleased; they were burning with jealousy, and pure anger and hatred were visible in their eyes, especially when they saw Daehyun kiss the younger's left cheek. Min looked at him blankly and dismayed before she sighed again.
"What the hell do you think you're doing?" She wiped her cheek as hard as she could, like she had some bacteria lingering on it. Now the girls started gawking.
"Get with it, or I'm making a scene you wouldn't like to watch." Daehyun smiled, giving Min a warning that she had to get along, but the latter rolled her eyes.
"I would gladly watch if it's going to be your murder scene."
"A little feisty, aren't we, my cute baby mochi?" Daehyun managed to say this with the same adorable smile that he was giving his fangirls a few minutes ago and pull her soft cheeks with his hands, which annoyed her greatly.
"And you're just a deceiver." Daehyun wasn't offended; in fact, he was enjoying this war of mockery he was having with hermockery he was having with her. Especially if he knows he's winning.
"That's on point, though." He saw how she was taken aback because she didn't manage to offend him, so she just stomped her foot in the ground like a small child and walked away, grunting and cursing the older man along the way, leaving a victoriously smirking Daehyun in the process.
''This is just the beginning of the game; soon, princess, you will know how much of a deceiver I can be," he thought with a sly smirk on his face while watching Minyoung leave.

''Ace, this Jeon Daehyun is Mr. Jeon Doyun's son," Ace's secretary said.
"Hmm. I know. He is also a very ruthless and fearful Mafia leader among the clans," Ace said.
"But still, Ace, even if he is the leader, his father's decisions are taken very strictly by everyone, even him," her secretary said while Ace had a static face. "He is playing a game with Min; let's see how far this can go and don't do anything in this matter. I will handle this personally," Ace said with a smirk on her face.
"Ok, Ace, we know you have always known what happens in all the Mafia clans and with the people around Minyoung because you are always one step ahead of everyone," her secretary said with
"It was just a matter of time before I finally came into light. But until then, I will let Minyoung handle the situation on her own without me helping her. ''
'' But Ace, don't you think if anything extreme happens then she will not be able to take it?" her secretary said. "There are many people who are there to protect her if something happens, and moreover, she knows how to fight for herself. So I won't be taking over for sometime now. Because I will not always be there for her, when I am gone, she has to handle everything. You all just do what I said and never appear in the scene unless it's very important, or I will call you ''.
"Yes, Ace," ''her secretary said while bowing her head.
