3rd person's POV
Since the Business and Marketing club was assigned to be the planners and organisers of the upcoming university festival, both clubs had no choice but to work together for the said event as per their principal's request, or more like order, even though Byul doesn't even want to look at her all-time hateful enemy, which is Choi Eun.
Minyoung, too, had no choice but to see
Daehyun and she always had to remember their conversation at the cafe whenever their eyes met each other. She still feels embarrassed about that conversation that happened between the two, which annoys her more, and she is starting to dislike her every day for that reason too.
They are currently in an empty big hallroom, which is big enough for the banners and decorations they are making that would be needed for the said festival. On the other hand, students who were not members of their clubs are asked to create booths.
It was indeed a very busy week for every student.
"Seojun-hyung, you're doing it wrong! Come here, I'll help you." Jung Hana, the new member of the business club, took the paper and scissors from Seojun because the sad male couldn't cut the papers beautifully and into the desired shapes, which will be needed for the decoration of the banner. Their hands brushed against each other, and Minyoung's hawk eyes did not miss this.
"Who's that red-haired girl?" She asked Kwan, who was on her side, busy arranging some colourful fake flowers beside her.
"She's Hana; she's really nice and cheerful; her smile is like sunshine; and we've become friends! She's new to their club, like me. She is the only girl in their club, just like I am the only boy in our club." Kwan replied with a smile of adoration on his face.
Min looked back to the Hana girl who was busy teaching Seojun how to properly cut the designing papers, and from her view, it looked like he was having fun with her, which annoyed her because she is jealous of that girl. She wants to be the one to teach Seojun! Not her, definitely not her... She has never felt jealous before, but she is definitely feeling it, which she can't help.
Daehyun walked in with a box of materials in his hands. The other club members were behind him too, holding the same boxes. He scanned
for an area to place the box, and he
happened to take a glance at Minyoung, who
wasn't paying attention to her own work, but instead, the short female was glaring at someone. When he followed the latter's gaze, he tried not to laugh because of her obvious jealousy.
against the two people laughing on the
couch with paper and scissors in their hands.
After placing the box somewhere, he sat
beside her and helped her with the
banner. "They look really great together."
He commented, trying to mean every word.
he had said.
"Huh! Excuse me, but they don't; they don't even suit each other." When Min realised to whom she was talking, she frowned and rolled her eyes. "Do you have to be annoying every day?" She asked, getting his focus back to the banner she's
been working at.
"Let me think. Mmm, the answer is yes."
Daehyun smiled and teased her more, which made her roll her eyes one more time.
"Oh look! The new kid is making a move.
on Seojun-hyung!" Daehyun whispered in
her ear.
"WHAT?!" When Min stood up, her
right foot accidentally hit the bucket
of pink paint, causing a splash on the
banner and ruining everything. Everyone looked
in her direction, especially the business club members who were giving her a disapproving look.
Daehyun wants to laugh, but he's in front of everyone, so instead, he asked Min if she was fine, making her more annoyed.
"Oops, it looks like someone is in big trouble today." Kwan muttered under his breath.
Thank God Byul was outside at the moment, or else Min would be in major danger for doing something so stupid. Eun told her it was okay and they could just do something about it, but
The door of the room suddenly opened, revelling Byul, whose eyes widened when she scanned the room and saw the banner she designed herself get ruined because of her sister. She brought their coffee down to the table and stopped to take a moment as she cracked her knuckles.
"Who did this?" Byul asked in a murderous tone.
Everyone pointed at Min because no one wanted to anger the devil more than she already is at the sight, and the latter could only gulp. She was nervously smiling, too.
"I can fix it, Noona."
"Oh, you should definitely fix it." Daehyun chortled, but he hid behind Min, so he wasn't fully seen laughing by the others.
It was actually his fault that this happened because he provoked her jealousy, but he
was having fun because of Min's bad luck today.
"And you are staying here overnight if you
have to."
"But Noona!" Everyone was thinking of ways not to get involved now.
They would obviously not want to stay at
University overnight to ruin their peaceful sleep. While the others were thinking, Daehyun got an idea to get on Byul's good side.
"Let me help you distribute the coffee, Noona." He got up from the floor, making sure to carefully avoid the bucket of paint, but to his dismay, he suddenly slipped on the scattered paint, which made the paint ruin
the banner even more. The words on the banner got smudged with the paint, just as his shoes got ruined by the paint too. It was a mess.
Byul laughed with a sinister tone in her voice. She was this close to losing her mind. "Oh look, Min... I've found your company for the night.''
Daehyun and Min ended up staying even after class. Making a banner from scratch was never easy, given that the first one took them four days to finish. The others were already in their homes.
by now, and even Byul didn't wait for Min anymore, claiming that 'she's busy," even though she knows that she'll only watch a series on Netflix without her! They would argue about every little thing that was unimportant but would go back
to work since Byul told them that they couldn't
go home without finishing the banner.
They have no time to slack off after all.
The university festival would last four days.
prior, so they have to finish everything soon. Min and Daehyun got tired and decided to rest in the meantime, not realising that they had fallen asleep and that the university was already locked from the outside.
Time had passed, and Min was the first
one to wake up only to see the classroom
with no light. She adjusted to the darkness.
and shook Daehyun, who fell asleep on
the couch.
"Daehyun, wake up! We were locked up!" He slowly stirred in his sleep and woke up to the darkness that surrounds them. The light from the moon from outside was all they had.
"Are you scared of the dark?" He asked, and she was suddenly confused as to why he said such a thing. After a few seconds, she realised that her right hand was placed on Daehyun's left hand, gripping him tightly. She gasped as he removed her hand. She was really embarrassed and is now blushing too much. He thanked the
blackout for not letting Daehyun sees her
face.
"No, I'm not!" Though she was still shaking while saying it.
She wasn't afraid of the dark, but it's just
too dark for her that she can't even see
anything. But Daehyun sensed the shaking.
of her body but decided to ignore it for a few minutes, convincing himself that she can handle herself after all, she is a grownup.
After a few seconds of thinking twice and debating with himself, Daehyun was about to hold Min's hand again, but he suddenly felt Min move and stand up.
"I won't allow this; we need to do something." Min grabs Daehyun's wrist, pulling him somewhere. They stopped in front of the window, Daehyun still confused as to what they were going to do now.
Even though the lights were off, Daehyun
can still see a little of Min, thanks for
the little moonlight that was falling on their window.
The younger man's back was now facing him, so
He can't see her face properly. Min opened the window and suddenly bent a little in front, her hands above the window stool, so her ass was now pointing at Daehyun's front. The older man's eyes widened in shock and he was confused as to why she was directing her ass at him. Though he is not a pervert, this was confusing him. But what the younger blurted out next was what made the older's mind go crazy.
"Hold my hip up, Daehyun."
