Chapter 53 - New Training

After settling down in the dorm, Viswa wanted to sleep once again, but all of a sudden Mr. Guide appeared.

[What do you think you are doing? You cannot sleep. You need to get back to training.]

"Mr. Guide, I didn't have a restful sleep for a while. Let me get some rest."

[I already told you before. You cannot just skip training for no reason. No matter what kind of circumstances you are in, you have to train. Also, you need to train well into order to get a better understanding and control of your new power.]

"But I thought I am already very decent with it. You have seen the hole I made in the rock, right?]

[That is indeed not bad, but that is not enough. You need to be as precise as possible. And also, you need to practice long range attacks from today onwards, throwing weapons. You also need to get a good control over it.]

"Alright let's go. There is no point in resisting."

[Should have realized that sooner.]

Viswa went into the forest as usual. After all, his movement technique training is a bit weird as he competes with Mr. Guide in a box.

No one can see Mr. Guide and Viswa would look weird if he replies to Mr. Guide's feedback out in the open.

But of course, he cannot go to the forest like he previously did. He has to go to the Circle 2 Forest.

Viswa drew a box and started competing with Mr. Guide on the movement technique. After he was done with that, Mr. Guide changed the training a bit.

[As I said before, you need to get an impeccable control over you energy. Throughout the ages, many powerful people achieved a lot solely based on the control of their energy. If you know how to use your limited energy efficiently, you can even defeat a stronger opponent.

Of course, this advantage can only be obtained with a fair price.]

"Please Mr. Guide, don't keep in suspense, just get to the point."

*BAM*

[Don't interrupt me while I am talking.]

Mr. Guide punched Viswa in the face without any hesitation and there is a twinkle of satisfaction apparent on his face.

[There are many methods to increase your energy control. Combat practice is obviously one of them, but combat practice would narrow your perspective.

Other than that, most common method is to pursue an art discipline. Many of the Celestial beings that rose to the skies from dirt have this aspect in common.

A lot of them pursue calligraphy, painting, music, dancing or any other art form that is not completely related to their combat ability.

So, you are also going to pick up an art form and luckily you already managed to gain an insight into one of those art forms.]

"Sculpting?"

[Yes, from today onwards, your sculpting is one of the key elements you are going to practice and of course you are not just going to do regular sculpting with chisels.

You are going to pursue it in a unique way.]

After that, Mr. Guide paused for a moment and looked around trying to find something. After a while, his eyes landed on a large rock nearby.

[Okay, that rock is going to be your target. That is also an ordinary rock that you have worked with previously, so it won't be much of a problem.]

Viswa saw the rock that Mr. Guide pointed at and was a bit surprised. It is a huge rock. Almost seven feet tall and three feet thick and three feet wide. It is not completely even, but that is pretty much the size Viswa could make out if he evened it out properly.

[Your Job is to use your palm strikes and palm strikes only to sculpt something out of that rock. You cannot waste more than twenty percent of the total volume of that rock and it has to be a single big piece.

You cannot use any other tool or use your hands in any other form. Even for marking, you can only use your palm and nothing else and of course every single strike should be imbued with your spiritual energy.

If you use way too much, you are going to destroy the rock and once you lose too much of the rock, then you will have to face a punishment.]

"So, what is the punishment?"

[I will decide it on a whim. It can be short or it can be long. It can be humiliating or it can be excruciating. My suggestion is that you don't mess up at all.]

With that Mr. Guide disappeared.

Viswa looked at the rock and sighed. He kept a fair distance away from it and then circulated his spiritual energy into his palm as he threw a strike on it directly.

*BAM* *CRACK*

He tried to control the energy as much as possible, but still a very deep crack appeared on the stone.

"Fuck."

He cursed himself and tried to reign in his strength a bit and kept on going. This time, he decided to focus on the uneven protrusions that are way too obvious. Those things can be destroyed because they have to be destroyed.

That seems like a good place to start.

So, Viswa made himself busy.

But at this moment, what he didn't know is that from far away trees, a group of students in Circle 2 Uniforms are watching him through some devices that are very similar to portable telescopes.

They are looking Viswa's odd way of training for a while now.

"Why does this guy seem like he is talking to someone in the middle? That is weird."

One of them spoke and the rest agreed.

"Maybe that is why he trains far away from the training grounds. He must have a unique training method. I have seen some people train like this before."

"Yeah, even my knight trains in a weird way, whenever he is practicing his swordsmanship, he says he visualizes an opponent and he even talks smack to this imaginary opponent. He even visualizes the opponent using all kinds of underhanded techniques, trash talk, insults etc.

He is very vocal about this kind of thing. He even yells our insults and curses himself."

"No, this doesn't look it. It is almost like this guy is taking instructions from someone."

"Maybe he is instructing himself? I heard that except for some very basic combat classes, he doesn't take any other classes.

Do you remember how we ran to check out what classes we could join when we just got promoted to Circle 2? This guy is complete opposite, he didn't even go to check what the curriculum has to offer."

They kept on speculating and discussing, after five minutes, one of them stopped the rest.

"Alright guys, you all remember what we have to do right? We are not researching to write a biography about him. We are getting an idea of him so that we can take him down efficiently. So, focus on that for now."

"Okay, okay. We are just talking. It is not like he is about to leave this place. We can be chill for now."

Viswa didn't have any idea that he was being spied on. The people who were following him made sure that they kept their distance so that they wouldn't be found out.

After training for a while, Viswa left the forest once again. The person from the regional office will come the day after tomorrow and Viswa has to be careful in these two days.

He wouldn't want to be in the forest in an ideal case, but he cannot train anywhere else like that.

As soon as Viswa came out of the forest, someone was waiting for him with a letter.

Viswa frowned and took the letter from that person.

He was stunned by the contents. He contemplated for a second and went to the nearest student council member. He wrote a letter himself and gave it to the council member.

"Can you please send this message to Sir Warden?"

The person nodded without any hesitation. Right now, the student union members all have one job to make sure that Viswa wouldn't go off the rails again and he would be kept watch on.

They were also told to protect him at all costs. In a way, Viswa is on friendly terms with the union and the member didn't feel bad for helping him.

Viswa then went to visit an instructor within the main building.

The instructor known as Instructor Fish. Not many people know his real name and even his name plate on the door was named as Instructor Fish.

When Viswa entered the room, he was met with a smiley instructor who is of the same age as Sir Warden.

"So, you are the kid that has been causing all the stress? Nice to meet you Viswa."

"I am sorry I can't say the same."
