Viswa was still on the run.
He really wanted to just turn around and fight back, but his instincts are screaming not to. So, he could only run forward.
And after a short while, he came across another beast. The beast is running in a certain direction and Viswa once again decided to use it to his advantage.
It is a stag, but it looked as big as a horse.
Viswa threw a knife to attract its attention. But to his surprise, the stag didn't even care when the knife hit on his shoulder.
It just charged forward.
He frowned at this anomaly and slowed down a bit. He heard a few more hoove sounds and saw another boar, a couple of deers and a fox run in the same direction as the stag. He was surprised that the fox is not attacking at all with so many prey in front.
*WHOOSH*
An arrow came and Viswa barely dodged. He landed on another tree. He stepped on a snake and almost slipped off the branch. He caught a hold of another branch and stabilized himself.
He thought the snake would come at him. But to his surprise, the snake didn't even bother taking a look at it. It just slithered down the tree and followed the beasts that Viswa saw.
"What the fuck is happening?"
He muttered to himself, before he let go of the branch and kept running forward.
"Just how is this bastard so fast? He just broke through a couple of days ago."
The leader yelled as he ran with all his energy. Viswa is indeed very fast for his current level. In fact, he is very confident that he could turn back and take them on if not for the presence of the archers. He believed that the reason his instincts are screaming danger because of those archers alone.
But right now, he felt like he might run out of energy any time soon.
As he ran forward, more and more beasts appeared and they are all running towards that certain direction. Viswa finally noticed the common thing among them, the red eyes. He felt like something is about to go seriously wrong here. He just had that bad feeling.
At that moment, all of a sudden, a notification appeared in front of his eyes.
Viswa widened his eyes in shock as his body was overwhelmed with fatigue.

The worst thing happened to him now. His foot didn't land on the next tree. His muscles were sore and he couldn't gather any energy to stand up. He slid on the tree and crashed on to the ground.
He could hear the sound of the hooves coming towards him and saw a herd of deer and stag running towards their direction.
*WHOOSH* *WHOOSH*
"ARGH…"
Two arrows were shot and they hit his legs accurately. The group of attackers finally arrived and looked at Viswa hatefully.
"You are a fucking pain in the ass. Do you know that? I told you, you should have surrendered peacefully. You could have easily avoided all the torture that you are about to go through now."
The leader said as he looked at the herd coming at them.
"Let them pass through you. Then we will have our fun before throwing your body in that stream. With that our mission will be finished and we will have our lives settled.
I must say, killing you would be the most profitable thing that every happened to us."
The leader and his team took a step back so that the herd won't be attracted by them. Viswa looked at the group and the herd and made a hard decision.
*STOMP *STOMP* *STOMP*
As the deer went over him, stomping him in the chest and even on his head, he kept on focusing on the stag that was at the rear of the herd and when the Stag stomped on his chest and broke a bunch of his ribs, he didn't hesitate and grabbed its leg.
The stag didn't stop though.
Viswa already knew it wouldn't. The beasts didn't have their mind straight, they are running blindly and they are not caring of any other thing in the world.
*BAM* *BAM*
Viswa's body was raised above the ground along with the leg and he was slammed against the ground, but he didn't release his grip on it. He just let the stag drag him while taking in all the hits.
The team leader was shocked.
"Fuck. Shoot him down."
He said to his archers as he and a couple of companions started running after the stag. Viswa tried to curl up a bit to block the arrows, hit his vitals. It worked for the most part.
And the stag is extremely fast to the point that the leader and the rest couldn't catch up with it. But Viswa left a trail of blood for them to follow.
So, they followed the trial to catch him. They believed that Viswa wouldn't be able to take the abuse of being smashed against the ground with every step of the stag, but to their surprise the trail didn't change.
The bloody trail is following the hoof marks of the stag. And then only they made the same observation Viswa made. The beasts are all moving in a certain direction. They were stunned and were about to stop and analyze the situation.
But at the moment, their student Id tokens started glowing with a red light.
"Its an emergency alert from the academy. What the fuck is happening?"
"We need to go back. The academy already knows that we are in the forest, if we do not respond, we would have to give some explanations."
"One of our team members died and two of them are injured. I think we have our explanations down."
"But still, it is an emergency signal, everyone of us should respond. How about we split up? Half of us will go to the academy and explain the situation while the other half will follow Viswa and see what happened to him."
They agreed on it quickly and half the team followed Viswa's trail while the other half went back to the academy.
At that time the academy is on a high alert. All the villagers were being directed into the academy grounds while all the students, village guards and instructors were deployed. A beast tide has been detected. A lot of beasts from the surrounding forests are all running towards the Black Sand Village.
Even the beasts in the shallow waters of the seas are behaving the same. Since that morning, a lot of fishermen were attacked by these sea beasts and more than dozen people lost their lives. Some of the amphibious beasts came out of the water and are attacking the village.
The students weren't even asked about any explanation, they were just deployed to different fronts.
Sir Warden already shifted the kids into the office he had in the main building.
"What about Viswa? Why is he not here?"
Manavi asked as she gripped his hand tightly.
"He was in the forest, so he should be coming back to the academy by now. Don't worry about him. Viswa is very strong."
Sir Warden tried to comfort them as much as possible, before he went back to dealing with the beasts. There are beasts of all levels, but the main threat is their sheer number. The Black Sand Village is essentially covered with forests on three sides. One side is isolated because of the academy, but the remaining two sides are kind of open. The only thing separating them from the village is the wall.
But now even that is appearing ineffective as relatively stronger beasts from deep within the forest are making their way.
The whole village is currently swarmed by the beasts.
Sir Warden didn't have time to check up on Viswa, he was busy saving people.
Meanwhile, back in the circle 2 forest, the team that was going after Viswa and the herd were currently standing at the border of the Circle 2 and Circle 3.
The fence that was separating both of the forests was broken and there are corpses of a couple of boars on the side. The herd along with Viswa disappeared into it.
The Boars had lost their lives while trying to break the fence and the rest of the beasts went through the hole.
"Why did the beasts go there? Aren't the beasts very cautious about these territories?"
One of them asked the other.
"We need to go back and report this situation."
They didn't hesitate and ran back to report the situation in the academy.
