Chapter 51 - Is it worth it?

Viswa stood there as if he hadn't done anything.

Meanwhile, Pat, who managed to gather some courage because of his plight felt his leg shaking. Partly because the kick of the head impacted his chin and partly because Viswa scared the crap out of him with those kicks.

He looked at Manavi who was shocked. Her jaw almost hit the floor.

Viswa smiled at her and gestured to her once again.

Pat forcefully swung his saber to stab Viswa in the back.

But once again, he was slick as he slid to the side and dodged the attack.

*DUM* *DUM* *DUM* *DUM*

The rattle drum was played once again. Four Times.

Viswa smiled and his leg struck like a whip.

*BAM* *BAM* *BAM* *BAM*

Four strikes. A kick to the calf, an oblique kick to the knee, a kick to the liver and finally a kick to the throat.

Pat couldn't breath. The liver blow effected him the most as it caused the most pain, his hands instinctively went there, the calf kick made his leg wobble while the oblique kick hyperextended his knee joint.

On top of all this, he couldn't breath.

He fell on one knee and looked at the Sky trying to breath while pressing on his liver.

*DUM* *DUM*

*BAM* BAM*

A knee to the chin and a spinning back kick to the face.

Pat flew threw the air and crashed on the stage. Even after landing, he slid backward a bit.

*DUM* *DUM* DUM*

The rattle drum kept on beating and so did Viswa. He ran to Pat pulled him up before kicking him in the groin. Pat, who was in a very groggy state woke up in pain. He couldn't even breath and he wanted to scream. Only no words came out of his mouth.

He teared up a bit, but Viswa didn't stop.

He kneed Pat in the stomach four times continuously while holding him in a guillotine choke. When Pat tried to block the knees with his hands, he could feel his bones cracking with every kick. When his arms couldn't hold up anymore, Viswa just fell down while holding the neck under his arm.

*BAM* *CRACK*

Pat's head crashed against the stage. His forehead was cut open from the hit and he started bleeding. Viswa stood up and threw another soccer kick at the groin to bring Pat back to his senses. Of course, at that moment Pat wished if all of his senses were gone.

But all wishes won't come true after all.

A kick to the face as soon as he sat up and before he could even touch the ground, a kick to the back of his neck that stopped his fall.

A pull by his collar as he was forcefully lifted up and a side kick to his chest while he was being pulled.

His body went limp and he was about to fall down, as if to increase the effectiveness of the fall, a Brazillian kick landed on his head and planted his face on the stage.

Viswa once again raised him up and held him by his collar. Pat's body is limp and he is barely conscious. His wounds are very less compared to what Kuma or any other Circle 1 Students that Viswa tortured before.

But for some reason, the audience felt like Pat is more pitiful and Pat is most humiliated.

Even the instructors felt that and the reason being the rattledrum.

The significance of that drum is that it is equal to Pat at the moment and as the little girl is beating that drum, Viswa is beating Pat.

So, all the wounds on Pat are currently caused by that little girl. Not by Viswa.

Pat who is a Circle 2 student of the academy has been brought to this state because an orphan little girl who almost died a couple of days ago was angry at him and got scared by him.

Manavi stopped beating the drum.

She looked at Pat and then turned her head away. She jumped into Sir Warden's arms and buried her head into his chest. Sir Warden consoled her as he looked at Viswa and nodded.

Even though Manavi is tearing up a bit, she had calmed down a lot. Now she is not scared of Pat anymore, but that doesn't mean she enjoyed watching this. This is just a means to overcome her fear. Pat who has been the death itself in her mind is nothing more than a plaything in her hand.

All she had to do is beat the rattle drum and she could seal his fate.

But she doesn't want to do it. That is that.

Pat never felt this relieved.

But he realized he felt happy too soon. After all, there are two kids who got scared by this guy and only one of them is satisfied.

Manas looked at Viswa and Pat with gritted teeth and clenched fists. The desire for punishing Pat burned in his eyes.

Viswa smirked at him and threw a punch. As if he is mimicking Viswa, Manas also threw his fist in the air.

Pat crashed into the stage lifelessly. He has no energy left. All his muscles and joints are aching. He just wanted to drag himself out of the stage so that this nightmare would be over.

The only problem is Viswa didn't want to let him go. He stomped on Pat's hands and broke his other leg.

Pat laid down lifeless. The only join that is still working is his jaw. But even that is useless because he is constantly out of breath and couldn't even scream in pain.

*BAM* *BAM*

Viswa threw two punches to his face and asked.

"Is it worth it?"

Pat looked at him in confusion. He didn't know what to say to that.

Viswa kept on asking.

"Is it worth it?

Trying to kill a child because he stained your uniform with a fruit. Now, I stained your with your own blood.

Why don't you try killing me now?"

Pat gulped with his eyes wide open.

*BAM*

Another punch to the face.

"Is it worth it?

Manipulating the formation barrier when I was taking an exam and almost killing innocent students? Now one of those students is on top of you, beating the crap out of you. I hope the chump change you got for that feat is enough to endure this."

*BAM*

"Is it worth it?

Bribing the Circle 1 repeaters to kill me in the forest? Just kill me to satiate the jealousy of an insecure little fucker who just happened to be a sperm in the ball sack of a rich noble."

*BAM*

"Is it worth it?

Acting as a broker to make a deal with a fucking instructor who manipulated the barrier to attack the orphanage. Because of being that broker, your limbs are broken."

*BAM*

"Is it worth it?

Luring hillside village students who are in dire states because of a corrupt instructor to burn innocent children. All of it to just lure me and kill me? Now you failed and are about to die"

*BAM*

Viswa took out a bunch of sharp stone spikes from under his shirt. They are five inches long, thick as a finger.

"Do you know, there was a time when I met a guy like you. I wanted to kill him so badly, but because of the rules, I couldn't kill him. I could injure him however I want. I could cripple him, I could make him a retard if I wanted to.

But I couldn't kill him.

Just like the situation we are in right now.

I can do whatever I want with you as long as you are dead that is.

But I don't want you to be alive. For all the things you have done. I want to kill you ten times over.

So, I am going to do what I did at that time."

Viswa's words were not too loud, but everyone in the surroundings clearly heard him. The judge who heard the words clearly wanted to rush in, but he felt a pressure that weighed on him like a mountain. He turned to look at Sir Warden who has his eyes locked on him.

The judge turned to the headmaster.

The headmaster looked at Sir Warden.

Meanwhile, Viswa is extremely calm. He just checked out Pat's body as he identified several marks.

He then started stabbing one spike after another into the body. His actions were swift and decisive. He stabbed at various spots, some in lungs, some in abdomen, one in liver, kidneys.

Viswa then picked him up like a rag doll and threw him out.

Threw exactly to land at Kai's feet.

Viswa then sat on the stage with his robe that was completely splattered with blood. He sat cross-legged as he took a deep breath before saying out loud.

"I don't know how many people are exactly involved in the whole fiasco with the orphanage. It is my home and nobody has a right to even touch it.

So, listen well. All the fuckers that are involved in this. No matter what circle you are, what kind of authority you have. I will kill you.

I don't care if you are a son a noble. I don't care if you have a dozen lackeys under you. I don't care if you are compelled to do it by force and I don't care if you think I am speaking nonsense.

But when I get my hands on you, you better remember this day."
