Viswa and the Boar both locked their gazes.
The Boar charged at him with a growl.
Viswa didn't move immediately. Only after the Boar is almost there to hit him, did he sidestep and let it go past him and in that small moment, he threw a jab to the boar from the side.
*GROWL*
The boar growled angrily.
Viswa took a step back and could feel the impact. He felt the recoil of the hit. It felt much more solid than when he hit those kids.
*GRR* *GRR*
The growling intensified and the Boar charged at him and this time the body of the boar started glowing faintly with spiritual energy. He could feel it. As he increased his cultivation he felt more and more sensitive towards this spiritual energy.
The speed of the Boar increased by twice at least. Viswa slipped to the side and the Boar went straight through a tree behind him. After going through the tree it went and crashed into a large rock, leaving a large crater behind.
The rock is destroyed completely. Viswa was dumbfounded when he saw this.
His strength has increased significantly, and it would be lie if said he didn't test it against a rock and the result is actually pretty satisfactory for him. But he is sure as hell that he wouldn't be able to damage a rock like that at the moment.
Maybe, if he used all of his spiritual energy at the moment. But if he did that, his hand would be smashed along with it.
But the Boar just shook the impact off and just charged at him once again. Viswa once again dodged and threw a straight punch at the side of the boar.
When the Boar slowed down, he even took the chance to land a side kick behind the knee of the hind leg of the boar.
He didn't even waste a second and took a step back.
The Boar had a very restrictive build. The hind legs are a bit shorter than the front legs. It has explosive power, but it is not agile enough to change directions on a whim to attack him.
Meanwhile, even if Viswa didn't have enough explosive strength to deal with the boar in a single hit, but he has agility that the boar couldn't have. If he is precise enough and timed everything properly, he would be able to deal with it with time.
He also has enough endurance to do that anyway. On top of that, the surrounding environment is definitely in his favor.
Viswa felt like he is in a boxing match against a pure knockout artist, while he is a much weaker but faster outboxer with enough endurance to make the opponent gas out.
And he acted like that. He didn't bother making big attacks, but he always made sure to land a hit whenever the boar came at him.
The battle went on and on.
Twenty minutes later.
Viswa is standing there while panting slightly. He is soaked in sweat. The whole area which was full of grass and dried out leaves has actually turned into tilled land. The grass razed and the leaves flew all over the place.
All the surrounding rocks and trees were destroyed.
But the one is the worst condition is the bore. It has been trying to deal with Viswa so much and every move was a massive hit. Only it had to hit the trees and the rocks instead of Viswa.
And if failing is not enough, it as been punched and kicked repeatedly by Viswa.
Now as it charged forward, Viswa dodged to the side and landed another sidekick to the boar's hind leg.
This time, it couldn't take it anymore and fell down.
Viswa didn't hesitate to take this chance, he closed in the distance and spiritual energy gathered at his shin as he swung a massive side kick to the boar's stomach.
*BAM*
*CRACK*
*GRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOWWWWWWLLLLL*
A painful growl followed the explosive sound of the kick and cracking sound of the bones.
The Boar started bleeding out of its mouth. Viswa didn't dare give it another chance. One kick after another followed and soon the Boar stopped moving. The growls disappeared.
Viswa panted heavily and sat on the ground as he looked at the beast.
[YOU KILLED A RAGING BOAR SPIRITUAL BEAST AT ELEMENTARY LEVEL INITIAL STAGE. YOU KILLED IT BEFORE ITS DESTINED LIFESPAN. OBTAINED NEGATIVE KARMA POINTS.]
Viswa looked at the notification. Five negative karma points neither that big of a number nor too small.
He sighed and took out the knife he prepared beforehand. He slit open the throat and let it bleed out before he started skinning it carefully. The boar is too big for him to eat all of it at the moment, even though his appetite has increased by a large margin.
But this boar is still too huge for him. He decided to pack it up in his bag after eating his fill. Then he walked to the tree the boar was initially digging around.
He dug the place to see if there is anything there. Soon, he found something. He doesn't know what it is and if it will help him. It looked like a piece of ginger. He threw it into a different bag. He also bundled up the bones of the boar just in case.
After all of that was done, he sat down and cultivated the spiritual energy obtained from the boar meat.
He cultivated peacefully and felt the spiritual energy increase. The friction seemed to have reduced a bit and at the same time, he could feel that his strength is also improving once again.
After around twenty minutes, he opened his eyes only to see mouth full of sharp teeth and fangs coming at him.
He hurriedly moved back while throwing a punch to the face that's coming at him.
He didn't hold anything back and even used a bit of his spiritual energy.
*BAM*
*CRASH*
He rolled to the side and stood up as he looked at the creature that came at him all of a sudden.
It's a fox.
It is almost as big as a tiger back on earth which is very unusual for a fox.
He carefully examined as the fox hurriedly stood up and locked its eyes at Viswa menacingly. It looked brown and it gave of a much more dangerous aura than the boar.
This might be the toughest opponent he had faced till date. Excluding Pat of course. On the other hand, he wasn't fighting Pat. He just got shit kicked out of him.
He didn't hesitate and took his knife out holding it in a backhanded grip. He looked at the fox not daring to even blink. He could see that the fox is fast. He would be an idiot to think that he could beat it like he did with the Boar.
He went on a complete defensive.
The fox seemed to have sensed Viswa's caution and jumped towards him. Its claws swung at Viswa. He jumped to the back and barely avoided the hit. The fox is agile enough to not give him too much of a chance and continued its attack.
This time, he couldn't move as fast and he had to block the attack with the knife in his hands.
*CLANG*
The claws clashed with the knife. He felt the full brunt of the attack. His arm felt numb. But he just held his ground and became even more careful. The fox is fast and it can attack with crazy strength.
Maybe it could have killed the boar in just a few seconds like it was nothing with that kind of strength.
While Viswa is fighting with the fox here, back in the academy his travel into the forest has already reached the instructors and soon even to the headmaster.
The headmaster looked at the Student Union president.
"You are saying he went into the second half of the Circle 1 after one week as a freshman?"
"Yes, Sir."
"So, president. Tell me this. When did you manage to survive a full day alone in the Circle 1 second half without any injury?"
"Eight months into the school."
"And you rank first among your peers, am I right?"
"Yes, Sir."
"Then why on earth would you let a freshman take this kind of risk?"
"It is not against the rules to stop him sir."
"Keep me posted when he comes back. You can leave now."
Headmaster sighed and didn't want to argue anymore. He just let him go.
At the same time, Erin stepped into his room after a long long time. He looked at Viswa's bed and shuddered in fright before he looked at his own.
He was surprised to see a small wooden bottle along with a note.
He opened the note first.
'Don't live in such fear. He is just human. This will let you get some sleep.'
Erin opened the bottle and he saw some familiar pills inside. They are the sleeping medicines that he asked Jiva for.
He looked around and he didn't know who gave this and he is a bit suspicious, but a peaceful night of sleep is way too much temptation for him.
