Students were gathered in different groups on the campus
" Look at him he is so handsome"
shouted some girls from the group of many students as a young handsome man walked out of the class .he walked away as if he was not the one being mentioned
The young man was Leonard Drake 20 year old third year student. He came from a wealthy family and his sharp wits and intelligence made him stand out amongst his peers.
With his charismatic personality Leonard was highly sought out by both men and women but he always focused on his studies.
" Leo I am having a party today at my place will you come ? " Asked Carl his friend as they walked towards their cars
" No not today I have work to do " replied Leonard without stopping
Despite his previledge upbringing, Leonard was determined to carve his own path in life . He enrolled in the best university and worked hard to prove himself worthy of his position
He was the top of his class in all subjects and was involved in many extracuricular activities including sports and volunteering so he definitely did not have time to party
" Ah come on Leo you don't even go out these days " insisted Carl
" No " came in Leonard's short answer
" Leo please you know many girls come only because I am your friend " Carl pleaded
" I am seriously not interested " replied Leonard as he entered his car and sped off he was starting to wonder just how he became friends with Carl who only thought of girls and partying .
Leonard drove for a while before he arrived at the platinum residence where the drake family mansion was located it was an exclusive residence where only the richest of edensburg city resided .

On entering the house Leonard spotted his mother Michelle Drake who was drinking tea seated on the sofa
" Hello mom " greeted drake
" Hello dear you are back early today how was your day ? " Asked his mother with a smile she was happy to see her son
Michelle Drake was a beautiful woman in her forties and her smile never failed to bring a smile on Leonard's face as well
" It was fine mom , class ended early and I decided to head back and work on my project a little "
" You are no different from your father always on about work you should be partying at your age " scolded his mothe
" I got it mom " replied Leonard as he walked towards the stairs or more like running away from his mother there was no way he could make his leave once she started nagging he could not win
Leonard entered his room sat on his table and started working on his project.
It was the first project his father had handed to him so he wanted to make it perfect by all means . It was a project about the construction of five new cafe in the town he had proposed the project himself and it was his very first task in the enterprise.
After a few hours of working tirelessly on his project he heard a knock on the door " come in "
"Young master your father is back and has requested for you to come down " Said the maid who just knocked
" Is he with mother? "
The maid just nodded at his question as he stood up from his chair and walked down stairs
His father Samuel Drake was there busy chatting with his mother it was only normal he has been absent for a week as he was on a business trip
" Hello dad " greeted Leonard
His father nodded at his greetings " so how is your project going ? " Asked Samuel
"Work again?" Sighed Michelle
The father and son duo just started laughing Leonard sat down and the family of three started discussing .
Small forest ,
Leonard was a little tired from working all evening so he decided to take a walk in the forest behind their mansion .
The forest was calm all you could hear was the occasional noises the insects and animals were making it was relaxing for him .
As he was walking through the forest he was suddenly engulfed by a bright light ,when the light faded , he found himself in a strange unfamiliar room everything was white .
Leonard searched for the exit but there was none it was like he was in a realm apart then a strange thought crossed his mind
' i am dead ? But how ? ' he asked himself.
Then suddenly out of nowhere a very beautiful woman dressed in white with an olive crown appeared before him .
Leonard stared at her for a few seconds he was sure he had never seen a woman as beautiful but he had no time to admire her beauty
" Who are you ? Where am I ? " Leonard asked as he appeared calm on the surface but was totally panicking inside hoping he had not really died .
The woman smiled at Leonard
" Do not panic dear mortal one , i am Aria the goddess of this world and right now you are in a world known as creek in the Masan empire "
" Huh ? Creek ? Like another planet and world ? " Leonard could not believe his ears Carl would have been happy to hear this he was a fan of the Isekai genre
The goddess smiled at his question
" Exactly and I have summoned you Leonard Drake to be the hero of this world and save them from the danger of the demon god and his troupes "
Aria said explaining the purpose for his summon emphasizing the hero part
" Wait a minute what do you mean ? " Asked Leonard confused at the Aria's his développement was really like an Isekai
" Become a hero and save this world from the demon god " area repeated what she said earlier
" Why don't you do it yourself miss goddess i am not interested in being a hero " he replied with an uninterested look on his face looking straight at Aria
Aria frowned she was stunned for a moment it was the first time a mere human spoke to her in that way
" I think you don't get it becoming a hero you will have enormous power and I will grant you any wish once your mission is done "
Leonard just burst out laughing which infuriated Aria even more
" I said I am not interested send me back I want to go home my parents will worry " Leonard said
Leonard did not even think twice about the goddess proposal his life on earth was already perfect he had all he could wish for so that proposal was a total no for him
Aria's frown deepened she was furious at Leonard's arrogance and lack of concern for the fate of this world her world she decided to teach him a lesson
With a wave of her hand , Aria cursed Leonard and threw him in the dark forest .
The dark forest was the most dangerous in the whole empire . It was dangerous and foreboding filled with all manner of monsters and dangerous creatures and the Leonard was thrown in there alone with no weapon or supply
