Aria left in her space alone was still furious about what had just happened . She had never seen such an arrogant human even with the promise of a wish he did not budge
And even laughed at her a goddess he had no respect for her this the reason she threw him in the dark forest very sure he would not make it out alive since she could not kill him herself .
" I want to see you being arrogant again Leonard Drake"
As Aria said this she teleported herself to the grand hall of the divine realm
There three other gods zephyr , Thalia and Ares were seated on their thrones with Aria this it made four gods one god for each of the four continents their world had .
" So how was it did you summon the human ? " Asked Ares as soon as Aria entered the hall they was a playful smile on his lips he always seemed to be enjoying himself
Aria Frowned again remembering the disrespect of the said human
Seeing her expression the other gods deduced something must have gone wrong
" Don't even mention it that human was so arrogant he refused to be a hero " Aria replied with an angry look Leonard had really angered her
At her words the three gods all gasped in suprise from her expression they had guessed something went wrong but they could have never imagined that a human will refuse immense power and a wish from a god
Just how could a mere human refuse such an offer those were the thoughts of the four gods sitting in the hall even Ares ' smile was no where to be seen
" So what did you do with him ? " Asked zephyr with a concerned look Leonard was a human with immense potential
" I threw him in the dark forest he will surely die as soon as he lands there " replied Aria there was a slight satisfaction in her eyes as she thought of the punishment she gave that human
" Then what now ? You know it will take us at least another 20 years to find someone with a unique talent and the demon god's troupes are advancing greatly "
Asked Thalia concerned for the future of their world among the four gods she was the one who loved their world the most and could not bear the idea of seeing it perish
Ares laughed out loud as if he just got the idea of his life
" Let's just summon another human with talent they are many humans in many different realms sure they will not have his talent but there is nothing else we can do "
With his idea his smile came back to his face
" Then let's do that " zephyr agreed with with Ares ' suggestion it was the only thing they could do since they could not retrieve Leonard Drake from the dark forest
" Then that is the only solution " Thalia agreed too if it could save this world she will agree to anything
" Aria make sure the new one is not disrespectful " Ares joked as Aria left the hall with an " hmph "
It was Aria's job to do the summoning not that the other gods could not do the summoning but the demon troupes were first found in her continent .
Dark forest ,
Leonard awoke in the dark forest, dazed and alone . The moon was obscured by the thick canopy of trees ,and the only thing he could hear was the soft rustling of the leaves . He attempted to move his muscles were paralyzed and he felt tremendous pain all over his body .
He groaned as he sat up his body was really in pain . He attempted to recall what had happened then he frowned as he recalled his exchange with Aria as he thought of it his frown only deepened
He observed around him the first thought that came to him was that he was sent back to the forest behind the Drake mansion
' did she send me back ? ' he thought
But on observing again it was very different from their forest which he was very used to as he was used to going on walks there since he was a kid with his parents .
He looked again he was sure it was not their forest instead he was in a dark forest surrounded by tall trees that obscured the sky
The air was heavy and damp and he could hear strange noises in the distance
Shaking his head to clear his thoughts Leonard attempted to stand up , but his legs were unsteady and he stumbled before regaining his balance
He felt a throbbing pain in his head and a sting in his arm , possibly from his fall .
" Damn goddess where did she throw me ? "
He was angry again just thinking of the goddess summoning him out of no where without asking him and then asking him to save a world that was not even his .
With little choice than to move forward , Leonard Drake began to trudge through the dark forest stumbling and falling every once in a while
He had to get out of here and go back home to his life the life he loved so much
Looking at the moon up high he thought of his parents they must be worried and searching for him as he left the house without informing them or any maid a thing he rarely did .
After walking for a while Leonard was tired , he sat down under a tree leaning his back on the bark of the tree to rest a little .
He had no food , no water and no idea about where he was or how he was going to get out of there ,he had no weapons either and as if to make things worst he was starting to get cold
He stood and tried to retrace his steps , but the thick trees made it impossible to know which way was which
" Damn i am totally lost "
Each second , each minute and every hour that was passing he found his situation more and more desperate
' if only I had not gone to the forest ' he thought but there was no use regretting it now .
