" .....do we the Grant family are pleased to announce this very carefully thought out deceision" grandma Grant said with a toothless grin.
"We are more than happy to announce the engagement of my first grandson from the main branch of the Grant family 'Fort William Grant' to the second daughter of the Splendour family, the apple of my eye, ' Serena Selene Splendour'"
Gasps resounded throug the hall as reporters clicked on their cameras furiously taking pictures,
Fort's teeth met in a gritt as he climbed unto the stage along with Serena who was more than happily smiling even giving a respectful nod to people among the guests that were close to her heart.
Fort showed a dazzling smile too but anyone who knew him well would see the giant question mark on his forehead head.

They were meant to depict a loving couple and his grandma had maid it clear so he held unto her hand softly but openly carrying it, Serena turned and gave him a smile but only he could see the naliciousness hidden deep within.
She collected the microphone gracefully from grandma Grant " I am more than happy that my dream from the second I met my Knight, Fort Grant is going to be fulfilled, I would.d be engaged to my Prince charming"
Fort's eyes narrowed, from one glance at that creepy smile, he knew that she was not done with her 'pleasant announcements '.
And truthfully she wasn't, she turned, giving him a loving peck on his lower cheeks before raising the microphone to her lips once again.
"What I am about to say would serve as a suprise to my family but I hope the public respects our carefully thought out decision.
Fort finally sighed in relief, for a moment there he thought she wasn't going to call this off.
"We have decided.... to prepone our wedding, instead of the planned wedding in one month plan, Fort and I have decided to have put wedding in two weeks"
Fort's eyes went wide as he stared at her discreetly, what was she doing! Marriage in two weeks, when the heck had he agreed to that... he hadn't even agreed to this engagement in the first place!
"That's ofcourse if it's not too much of a stress to both our families" she added staring at the front seats where their families were seated in anticipation.
"Of course it's no problem darling" Mrs. Splendour gushed, she was going to get her grand children two weeks earlier, how could that be a problem?!
"Whenever you want darlings, you youngsters are so hot blooded" Grandma Grant said with a smile earning a grunt of approval from Grandpa Grant.
Mrs.Grant shook her head, she knew her son was not happy, but she couldnot bare to go against her sweet husband's hopefully parents, they wanted a great grand child so much and it was their old friends last wish so they could only but play along.
Serena turnedstare at Fort right in the eye, she knew she might be destroying her life, she might be making a choice she would regret getting married to this play boy but she couldn't help it..
No mater all he did, she loved him and she trusted her love for him, she promised herself, before their first marriage anniversary, she would make Fort fall in love with her just as much or even more than she loved him!
And ofcourse this served as a sweet revenge , calling of this marriage would be exactly doing his will, and that was not going to happen after he so brazenly cheated on her.
