"I'm junk Killian, no one wants me, " she said wiping the self depreciating tears off her face before standing with her back straight, the stance of a bodyguard... because that's all she'd ever be.. 

" it seems I have a type then, if your junk, I'm a dumpster" he said wrapping his hand around her waist, pulling her close, so close she could feel his hot breadth fan her nose creating a tingling sensation. his words made her eyes cloud with tears as she indulged herself in his warmth. 

he pulled her head up making her face him. 

" Red...." he called out softly. 

she hummed in reply refusing to face him, her eyes darting anywhere else than his godlike face. 

"I have a secret to tell, one I've kept for as long as I've known you for" he whispered teasingly. 

" speak, I won't tell she told him, glad there was a change of topic " I promise..." 

"alright" he said moving closer to her till his lips brushed gently against her ear "I'm in love with MY FIESTY LITTLE BODYGUARD "
