"Yes. It was perpetrated by a witch, but she is dead now," Lucien glanced at Levina, but she looked away. "Unfortunately, we could not get any information from her. She killed herself before we could get a chance to question her."
"Does this mean that the witches are returning to Arvenia?" another man asked.
"That would be a conversation for another day," the king replied. "My son is alive and well, and my other son has brought an end to a war that so many generals could not. This is reason enough for a celebration."
"Agreed," Asmodeus nodded with a big smile on his face.
"In celebration of such a joyous occasion, there will be a feast tomorrow night at the castle!" the king announced, throwing a balled fist up into the air.
Everyone clapped so loudly that the initial tension disappeared. Slowly, the men started leaving until they all left, leaving just the members of the royal family and Levina.
